This week, I spoke with Scott McDaniel, CEO of Simple Helix in Huntsville Alabama. We dicussed his path into Cybersecurity, changes in IT and Cybersecurity, Compliance, CMMC, and more!

Scott's Bio:
Scott McDaniel is the CEO of Simple Helix – a Technology Services Provider and Data Center Facility located in Huntsville, AL.

Scott has spent his entire career in information technology. He serves as a thought leader within the IT space and a variety of compliance programs, such as NIST-800 and CMMC. Additionally, he has built multiple successful teams to support rapidly growing businesses within the tech industry.

With more than 20 years of experience in engineering and IT and more than 15 years of experience in management, Scott holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering and a Master's in Business Administration from Auburn University.

When away from the office, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife and family aboard their boat, cruising the Tennessee River. Scott also has a bit of a "speed bug", which is fed by piloting small aircraft and riding sport motorcycles.
