As we start the new year, some of us have a lot of excitement and big plans for the future, but some of us have a sense of anxiety and even dread about the unknown. But when we look at the Scriptures, what we find is that God invites us to engage life primarily from a posture of hope. Believing in God's power and character allows us to look at the new year and hope for better days, regardless of what we have faced or what we are about to face.
