Good evening and welcome to the podcast where you Sleep... with Josh. Tonight, it is March fourteenth, the fourteenth day of the 3rd month, 3/14, which is recognized internationally as Pi Day. A day in celebration of one of the most important mathematical constants, 3.14159 non repeating or Pi, by eating dessert pie or pizza, a happy coincidence. Pi, is defined as the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter. It is unique because it is an irrational number that cannot be expressed as a common fraction, but an approximation. One who's decimal representation never ends and never settles into a permanently repeating pattern. Therefore, in celebration of Pi, I will start reading the decimals of Pi until this episode reaches 31 minutes and 42 seconds. Let's see how far I get. Now sit back, close your eyes, and relax as your body digests all the pie you ate today... because you'll start dreaming numbers from this podcast... guaranteed.
