David the warrior returned home to find his settlement burnt and the families taken by the Amalekites. One would think this warrior would immediately chase after the enemy, but he did not. Instead this warrior waited on the Lord and received a promise before going to war.

In our lives, it is necessary to wait on the Lord and receive his divine strategies before we engage in spiritual warfare for that which the enemy has stolen from us.
