So we left off as the Connaught Bar came calling. So exciting...no more faffing about..let’s jump right in...with Ago...and that knocking door. This week’s cocktail, the SWEET & Z is inspired by the story of 2 guests that are completely different but the best of friends ; one in fashion with a love of strong drinks like the Negroni, the other a quieter soul with a love of fine food and sweeter drinks, his favourite being the Golden Cadillac. This drink is a tribute to them with the bitterness of the negroni and sweetness of the golden Cadillac. Add a bit of chocolate candy adn you have the Sweet & Z. Ingredients 30 ml Patron Reposado Tequila 30 ml Martini Rubino 30 ml Galliano L’aperitivo Cacao Cascara light cream Galliano L’Autentico.
Method Put all the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice: Stir. Strain into a champagne coupe glass over diamond of ice. Add a ring of chocolate and spray with grapefruit and basil essence
