Chris Reader’s story is one that will show you no matter how bumpy your story begins or off-track you may feel at times, hard-work and persistence will allow dreams to materialize. After dropping out of high school, Chris quickly joined the Canadian Army and served for ten years, including two tours in Afghanistan. Now, he is a father, husband, and local business owner. He shares how he transitioned to civilian work after retiring from the military, as well as how he combats his mental health issues stemming from his tours of duty.
