Two Newton Police officers were assaulted while responding to a domestic violence call. An “assaultive, out of control” suspect began fighting the officers when they went to make an arrest. The Newton PD claims the suspect punched both officers in the back of the head and forcefully grabbed for their service weapons. Dan discussed the Newton incident and in general the dangers of tackling crime in our communities.
