Monday, Arlington public schools were delayed by an hour due to bear sightings! The sightings came one day after a black bear was spotted and caught on video in a yard in Newton. Officials are not sure if it’s the same bear in both Newton and Arlington. With only a distance of seven miles between the two towns, officials say it’s possible the bear traveled that distance overnight… Why are we seeing bear(s) in unusual locations?
