Last week, the Boston City Council rejected a federal anti-terrorism grant of 13.3 million dollars. State Senator Nick Collins of Boston has filed a bill at the State House to remove the ability of local governments to exercise the option to accept or reject such funding. The legislation would impact funds intended to protect health and safety of Massachusetts residents.
