The Inflation Reduction Act includes an EV charger tax credit program that is designed to include subsidies for “low income” or “non-urban” areas of the country. The Department of Energy’s interactive eligibility map shows parts of Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket are among the areas that the administration has classified as “low-income” and eligible for receipt of EV charger subsidies.
