Massachusetts Ballot Question 5 proposes giving tipped workers the state minimum wage. If passed, Question 5 would do away with the tipped minimum wage of $6.25 and replace it with the state minimum wage by gradually increasing the minimum hourly wage that an employer must pay to a tipped worker over five years, reaching 100% of the state minimum wage by 2029.
