Today the average price of gasoline in Massachusetts hit $5 a gallon. Despite the staggering record high price, State House leaders refuse to suspend the gas tax. Why? MA Senate President Karen Spilka said, “there’s nothing they can do to mandate that if they suspend the gas tax that it actually goes into the pockets of those at the pump.” What would you like your elected officials to do to provide some relief at the pump?
