Hall of Famer and Boston Celtic Great Bill Russell passed away at the age of 88 this past weekend. Russell was with the Celtics for 13 years in which he carried them to the NBA Finals 12 times, winning the championship 11 times. The player was a passionate civil rights activist for decades which resulted in recognition from the White House when former President Barack Obama awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
