In the place of pride, Jesus invites us to live a life of humility.  Humility isn’t about convincing ourselves or others that we are less.  It’s not about trying to make yourself nothing, insignificant or unimportant.  Humility is the freedom to stop pretending to be what we are not.  It’s the freedom to accept the person God has created us to be.  Humility isn’t thinking less about yourself; it's about thinking of yourself less**.
