The word "rewards" in the Holy Bible, doesn't always imply good. But also implies bad consequences based upon bad choices.

For a sinner, the Lake of Fire is your reward based upon your rejection of Jesus Christ.

For born-again Christians, eternal rewards in Heaven is what we are to look forward to, as Jesus Christ has taught.
