The organization, Truth in Accounting, creates a Financial Transparency Score of each of the 50 States to show which of the states are being the most open and transparent in their financial reporting. There are many requirements to have a perfect score of 100. Out of this top 13, seven are red states, 4 are purple, and 2 are blue. This illustrates the fact that conservative principles value transparency while socialist principles do not.
