FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4TH: WORLD OF OUTLAWS WORLD FINALS AT THE DIRT TRACK AT CHARLOTTE

A night after popping a right rear tire, Donny Schatz outdueled “The Big Cat” Brad Sweet for his 13th career Charlotte win in his 60th start. It also was his fourth win of the year and his 306th of his Outlaw career. Cory Eliason finished second, and Sweet finished third.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5TH: WORLD OF OUTLAWS WORLD FINALS AT THE DIRT TRACK AT CHARLOTTE

It was more of the same on the final night as Schatz and Sweet battled hard at the start of the night with Schatz eventually getting the lead in traffic and walking away to more than a four second lead. Schatz held on for the win after a 1-lap shootout decided the final Outlaw race of the year. It was Schatz’ 14th Charlotte win, his fifth of the year, and the 307th of his career. “Hot Sauce” Gio Scelzi finished second, Carson Macedo finished third. Brad Sweet finished fifth scoring enough points to claim his fourth-straight Outlaws title.

NASCAR

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH: NASCAR CHAMPIONSHIP AT PHOENIX

Joey Logano, Chase Elliott, Christopher Bell, and “The Watermelon Man” Ross Chastain made up the Championship Four for the final NASCAR race of the year. The only rule was beat the other three and you win the title. And it was all Logano who spent most of the day either leading or in second. Taking the win and his second championship. Ross Chastain was the closest to having a shot finishing in the third spot after starting 25th. Bell finished 10th. And after a late race incident with Chastain, Elliot finished 28th.
