It took double overtime to decide it, but Kyle Busch earned his 2nd career Talladega win, his first there in 15 years, and his 62nd career win. Ryan Blaney finished 2nd and Chris Buescher finished 3rd in the 2nd most-watched sporting event of the weekend.

The World of Outlaws were off last weekend, but the battle has been close between Carson Macedo, Brad Sweet, and David Gravel all year so far with only 20 points separating the top 3. Donny Schatz is looking to rebound from a stretch of bad luck. Currently sitting 9th in points-162 points out of 1st.
