William Byron took the lead after a near mid-race pit stop issue knocked Chase Elliott out of the top spot.  “Willy B.” then cruised away to the win becoming the first repeat winner in 8 races this season.  Byron also managed to lead more laps Saturday night than his whole career up to that point.  Byron won the Truck Series race last Friday as well meaning he got to go home with two signature Martinsville Grandfather Clocks.

Byron was your winner, Joey Logano finished second, Austin Dillon third, Ryan Blaney fourth, and “The Watermelon Man” Ross Chastain finished fifth

Chase Elliott after a 10th place finish was able to take over the point lead with 288, Second Ryan Blaney-3, Third William Byron-12, Fourth Joey Logano-27, Fifth Ross Chastain-42

SCHATZ WATCH

LAKE OZARK SPEEDWAY-JASON JOHNSON CLASSIC

Jacob Allen battled through traffic to earn his first win of the year.  Spencer Bayston finished second, David Gravel ended up third, Logan Schuchart fourth, and Brad Sweet fifth.  10-time Champ Donny Schatz finished 12th.

Brad Sweet continues to lead in the points with 1826.  Second is Gravel-40, third Carson Macedo-54, fourth Sheldon Haudenschild-70, Schatz-110.
