WHAT HAPPENED 

SATURDAY, MAY 21ST: VIKING SPEEDWAY-ALEXANDRIA, MN 

Travis Saurer came out on top of the Midwest Modified feature to start out the night.  Then it was “The Ripper” Ryan Satter who won the Street Stock feature.  Payton Asche got the win in the Short Trackers.  Matt Miller won in the Super Stocks.  Todd Berg started the Modified Main event by flipping over 1 time for a 4-point entry into the Unintentional Roll Over Contest.  Then Joey Thomas took home his second Modified win of the year. 

THURSDAY, MAY 26TH-NORMAN COUNTY RACEWAY SEASON OPENER AND MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT 

Reise Stenberg lapped up to second to win the Midwest Modified feature.  Owen Carlson picked up his first NCR win in the RaceSaver Sprints.  Scott Jacobson held on in a hard-fought battle for the Sportmod win.  Brodee Eckerdt won in the Hobby Stocks. “Hollywood” Tye Wilke dominated the Legends.  “The Cool Cat” Kalvin Kesselberg capped off the night in front of the hometown crowd with the Stock Car win, 

NASCAR 

Sunday, MAY 22nd-$1 MILLION ALL STAR RACE-TEXAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY 

Ryan Blaney had the strongest car towards of the night and he seemed due for a million-dollar payday.  But with just a few feet left in the race, NASCAR threw the yellow flag for Ricky Stenhouse JR. tagging the wall at the back of the pack.  Blaney was already celebrating the win and even took his window net down.  The rules for the All-Star race state the race must end under green flag conditions so Blaney had to scramble to get his window net back up before the race would resume.  He was able to do so, and he held off Denny Hamlin for the win.

WORLD OF OUTLAWS 

FRIDAY MAY 20TH-ATTICA RACEWAY PARK, OH 

Kyle Larson walked away from everyone many times in the main event which saw too many cautions.  Carson Macedo finished 2nd, James McFadden finished 3rd, Sheldon Haudenschild 4th, and Brad Sweet 5th.  Donny Schatz started 13th and at one time was in the top 4 but ended up 7th. 

Brad Sweet leads the points with Carson Macedo in second 38 points behind, David Gravel 46 points back, Sheldon Haudenschild 56 points back, Logan Schuchart 92 points behind.  Donny Schatz currently sits in 6th place, 130 points out of first place.
