On last weeks show was mentioned was it safe to leave laptop inside hot car.

So I did a test Last weekend put laptop inside my pickup on pickup seat Saturday and left inside pickup facing south on driveway with sun baking on it

Saturday thru Monday during the 100 degree heat.  Took laptop out Monday night and laptop turned on and running ok all week.

If you need to leave laptop inside car would still recommend put in laptop bag or put blanket over it or put in trunk.

Difference between the Heat in Summer & Cold in Winter.  In winter time when you bring laptop inside

Since laptop is cold you can get condensation on laptop with temperature change which could short out laptop if you don’t

Allow to get to room temperature before turning on.  Where Summer time you don’t have any condensation issues from the heat.

It is still best too keep electronics out of the extreme Heat & Cold for any length of time.
