This interview addresses differences between Timber Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and Timberland Investment Management Organizations (TIMOs).  Harvest scheduling is discussed, as is software to assist in scheduling. Drawbacks of some plans are reviewed, and features of a new harvest scheduling approach are revealed that will alleviate the drawbacks Dr. John Paul McTague of Rayonier is interviewed.
