This interview discusses the background and methodologies for measuring condensable particulate matter in source gas emissions.  Discussion of EPA method 202 is provided, along with concerns with Method 202, including the potential for high bias if SO2 is present in the gas stream. The performance of an alternative method, evaluated by NCASI, is discussed. Lee Carlson of NCASI in interviewed.
