Remember God’s word (3:1-2 cf. 1:12-15,21)

• (remember 1:16-21)

Scoffers scoff at God’s word (3:4)

• following their own sinful desires (3:3)

God has always worked through his word

• he made the heavens and the earth (3:5)
• he flooded the world (3:6)

God’s is working through his word

• he is keeping the heavens and earth until judgment (3:7)
• he is patiently calling you to repent (3:8-9)

The Lord will keep his word (3:10)
