Sports Info UM host Darryl Oliver has found a very unique American Football fan. This man protested the entire 2017 NFL season by not watching any NFL games on television or attending any live NFL events. Tedd Lawrence is on a one man protest against the NFL for several reasons with one being because Colin Kaepernick is not on any NFL team’s active roster. He also feels strongly about what has happened in our country concerning police brutality and the disproportionate number of young black men who are incarcerated. He stated he was recently insulted and feels Kaepernick’s case for collusion against the NFL was validated after hearing John Elway’s statement about offering Kaepernick a job only if he took a 42% paycut. Hear from Mr. Lawrence who has been an active NFL fan for over 50 years and says he’s on the fence in protesting the 2018 NFL season.
