One night, the situation escalated tragically as John-Michael was drugged, sexually assaulted, and left unconscious by his tormentor. In his compelling book, “An Athlete’s Silence,” John-Michael courageously shares the painful narrative of his experiences, detailing the trauma of sexual abuse and his survival through sex trafficking.
