Our Bibles translate multiple words and categories of invaders, visitors, and naturalized citizens in Israel's history as "foreigners" or "strangers", though they are not at all alike. Perhaps there is wisdom for us today in understanding God's original direction to his people. Regardless, Christians are called to be Ambassadors of Jesus in all our interactions.
