Having known Donna for years for her work in raising funds for Ovarian Cancer Research and other diseases, in 2020 she was faced with the incredible tragedy of losing both her parents within weeks to Covid. Her father was in a Nursing Home/Rehab Center, her mother in Assisted Living, only to find out months later that NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo mandated that Covid hospital patients be moved to Nursing Home facilities.
