God Does Mighty Things Through Small Beginnings.
In Matthew 13:31–33, Jesus paints two powerful pictures: a tiny mustard seed that becomes a towering tree and a small pinch of yeast that leavens a whole batch of dough. His message is simple but profound—God’s Kingdom often starts small but always grows big.
You may feel your efforts are insignificant or your faith too small to matter. But in God’s hands, the smallest seed of obedience can produce eternal impact. He can use your quiet faithfulness to grow something beautiful—something that influences your home, your neighborhood, and even generations to come.
This week, let’s trust God to work through the small things—our prayers, our service, our conversations—and believe He’s building something greater than we can imagine. 🌱🍞

The parable of the Prodigal Son from Luke 15 reveals profound truths about our relationship with God and the nature of sin. The younger son's journey begins with dissatisfaction and a desire for independence, demanding his inheritance early—essentially wishing his father dead. He travels to a distant country, representing not just physical distance but relational separation from his father. This mirrors how sin operates in our lives, promising satisfaction but delivering destruction. After squandering his inheritance on foolish living, the son hits rock bottom during a famine, finding himself feeding pigs and longing to eat their food—a particularly degrading position for a Jewish man. The turning point comes when he 'comes to his senses' and decides to return home, prepared to be a servant rather than a son. His father's response is extraordinary—seeing him from a distance, running to him with compassion, and fully restoring him with the best robe, a ring, sandals, and a celebration feast. This demonstrates God's overwhelming grace that doesn't just forgive but completely restores. The elder brother's bitter reaction reveals another heart problem—self-righteousness that prevents him from celebrating his brother's return. This challenges us to examine our own hearts: Are we wandering from God? Are we trying to earn His favor like the elder brother? Or are we ready to receive His grace? God eagerly awaits our return, no matter how far we've strayed, ready to restore us fully as His beloved children.

In Matthew 18, Jesus uses the parable of the unmerciful servant to convey profound lessons on forgiveness. Peter approaches Jesus, asking if forgiving someone seven times is sufficient, to which Jesus responds with 'seventy times seven,' signifying limitless forgiveness. The parable tells of a servant who owes an unpayable debt to his king but is forgiven out of compassion. However, this servant then refuses to forgive a fellow servant's minor debt, leading to his punishment by the king. This story underscores that, just as God forgives our vast sins, we must also forgive others' smaller transgressions. True forgiveness involves extending mercy and grace, releasing bitterness, and fostering genuine reconciliation. By embracing forgiveness, we align ourselves with God's immense mercy and transform our spiritual lives and relationships.

Psalm 1 reveals that genuine happiness comes from living a life that bears fruit with eternal significance. The psalm uses the metaphor of a tree planted by streams of water to illustrate three key principles for a fruitful life. First, recognize that the source of lasting impact is a deep connection to God—just as a tree's unseen root system is its most vital component. Jesus reinforced this in John 15, emphasizing that apart from Him, we can do nothing of lasting value.Second, understand that fruit-bearing happens in seasons. God brings results in His timing, not ours, which calls us to faithful persistence even when we don't see immediate outcomes. As Galatians 6:9 encourages, we shouldn't grow weary in doing good, for we'll reap at the proper time if we don't give up. Finally, the fruitful person perseveres through adversity—their 'leaf does not wither' even in difficult circumstances. In fact, these challenging seasons often produce greater spiritual fruit, much like certain trees need cold winters to yield their best harvest. The promise for those who live this way is profound: 'Whatever he does prospers.' This isn't about material wealth but spiritual fruitfulness that outlasts our earthly lives. By examining our spiritual roots, identifying the fruit God is producing through us, persevering through different seasons, embracing adversity, and taking even small steps of faithfulness, we can experience the true happiness that comes from making an eternal difference.

Finding True Happiness Through Holiness: Lessons from Psalm 1 explores the counterintuitive biblical principle that real joy comes through holy living. Discover why many people mistakenly view God's commands as happiness-restricting rather than life-giving. Learn how sin progresses gradually in our lives—from walking in wrong advice to standing with sinners to sitting with mockers—and how this pattern leads us away from true contentment. This message unpacks practical strategies for overcoming temptation: defining biblical boundaries before temptation strikes, recognizing the supernatural power available to believers, and knowing when to run from compromising situations. If you're tired of chasing happiness through wealth, possessions, or relationships only to feel empty, this message reveals the path to lasting fulfillment through alignment with God's design. Perfect for Christians struggling with temptation, those feeling spiritually stuck, or anyone questioning whether following God's ways actually leads to happiness. Among the sins that can destroy lives, ministries, and relationships, pride stands as the most dangerous and deadly. C.S. Lewis called it 'the great sin,' and Proverbs warns that 'Pride comes before destruction, and an arrogant spirit before a fall.' While Billy Graham identified love of money, sexual immorality, and judgmentalism as serious temptations, excessive pride or arrogance surpasses them all because it blinds us to our own sins that need confrontation and correction.Jesus illustrated this danger in Luke 18:9-14 through the parable of two men praying in the temple. The proud Pharisee boasted of his righteousness and looked down on others, while the humble tax collector simply asked for mercy as a sinner. Jesus concluded that the tax collector went home justified rather than the Pharisee. Pride becomes a breeding ground for destructive emotions like anger, bitterness, envy, and hatred, which wreak havoc in relationships and communities. Scientific research confirms biblical teaching that humility leads to greater happiness, health, compassion, and likability. To cultivate humility, we should compare ourselves to Christ rather than those we consider beneath us, meditate on Philippians 2:3-8, and pray daily for help in confronting our sinful attitudes and focusing more on others' needs.

The account of King David and Mephibosheth provides a profound picture of God's heart toward humanity. Mephibosheth, the disabled grandson of King Saul, lived in fear at Lo-debar ('land of nothing'), expecting execution from the new king. Instead, David demonstrated four aspects of God's character that apply directly to our lives today.First, David actively pursued Mephibosheth, seeking someone to bless rather than waiting to be approached. This mirrors how God doesn't wait for us to find Him but actively seeks us out, even in our hopeless moments. Second, David extended undeserved kindness based not on Mephibosheth's worthiness but on his covenant with Jonathan. Similarly, God's love isn't based on our performance but on His covenant and character. Third, David restored what was lost, giving back Mephibosheth's inheritance, dignity, and future. God likewise doesn't just forgive us but restores what sin has taken, giving us new identity and purpose. Finally, David brought Mephibosheth to eat at the king's table as family, signifying acceptance and belonging. God similarly brings us into His family as sons and daughters, not just forgiven sinners. This story reminds us that God's kindness toward us has nothing to do with our worthiness but everything to do with His covenant through Jesus Christ. We are pursued in our brokenness, shown undeserved kindness, restored to purpose, and seated in God's presence forever—not because of anything we've done, but simply because the King is good.

Our world desperately needs more encouragers like Barnabas, whose name literally means 'son of encouragement.' True encouragement goes far deeper than simply saying nice things—it requires sacrifice, as Barnabas demonstrated when he sold his valuable property to support others. Genuine encouragers see potential when others find flaws, exemplified by how Barnabas vouched for Saul (Paul) despite his history of persecuting Christians. They are also future-oriented visionaries who recognize God's work even when it doesn't fit expected patterns.Encouragers invest in others for the long term, as Barnabas did by spending a year teaching alongside Paul in Antioch. They focus on the mission above personal glory, willingly stepping aside when others rise to prominence. When people fail, encouragers respond with patience and grace, as Barnabas did with John Mark after he abandoned their missionary journey. Finally, true encouragers understand the power of multiplication—how their investment in others creates a ripple effect that extends their impact far beyond their direct influence. In a world full of discouragement, we need more people willing to sacrifice, envision, invest, humble themselves, extend grace, and multiply their impact through others.

Abraham's story stands as one of the Bible's most powerful examples of faith, yet even this spiritual giant struggled with partial obedience. Coming from an idolatrous background in Ur, Abraham was called by God to leave his country, relatives, and father's house to journey to Canaan. However, Genesis reveals that Abraham only made it halfway, settling comfortably in Haran until his father's death before completing his journey. This pattern of partial obedience is dangerously common in our spiritual lives. We often find ourselves at crossroads between deeper devotion to Christ and familiar worldly ways, attempting to navigate both simultaneously. We may attend church while neglecting spiritual growth at home, or meet minimum faith obligations without pursuing complete surrender. The deception lies in the comfort these halfway measures provide - like Abraham in Haran, we can prosper and feel satisfied while missing God's best for our lives. As C.S. Lewis noted, we settle for mud pies when God offers us a holiday at sea.Moving beyond partial obedience requires identifying our personal 'Harans' - those areas where we've stopped short of full surrender. It demands letting go of old ways and embracing death to self, as Abraham finally continued his journey after his father died. When we choose complete obedience, God can work through us in ways utterly disproportionate to who we are, bringing blessings far exceeding anything we could imagine on our own.

The biblical account of Leah presents a powerful narrative about finding purpose when life takes unexpected turns. As Jacob's first wife through deception, Leah lived with the pain of being unloved while watching her husband favor her sister Rachel. Despite these challenging circumstances, her story demonstrates how God works through our disappointments and struggles.Leah's experience teaches us several crucial lessons about navigating life's difficulties. First, we must accept that life in this broken world will have its share of disappointments. Second, maintaining focus on God's presence during hard times provides essential strength and comfort. Finally, living beyond ourselves by investing in others can give meaning to our struggles. Through Leah's lineage and legacy, we see how God can use our challenging circumstances as part of His greater plan. Her story encourages us to trust in God's purposes even when we can't understand our current situation. It reminds us that hope remains available in hard times, and that God continues working even when we can't see it. By focusing on the blessings we do have and remembering God's faithfulness, we can find purpose and meaning beyond our immediate circumstances.

The account of Rebekah in Genesis 24 provides a compelling model of godly character through three primary attributes. While Scripture acknowledges her physical beauty, it emphasizes that her true attractiveness stemmed from her inner qualities - moral purity and reverence for God. This serves as a powerful reminder that genuine beauty flows from godly character rather than external appearances.Rebekah's interaction with Abraham's servant showcases extraordinary kindness and diligence. When asked for water, she went above and beyond by offering to water his camels as well - a task requiring 80-100 trips to the well and carrying approximately 2,000 pounds of water. Her actions demonstrate that followers of God should consistently show grace to others through friendly interactions, humble service, and genuine hospitality. In a world pursuing comfort and ease, her example challenges believers to embrace hard work and dedication in serving others, while maintaining a character that reflects Christ.

In the tumultuous period following Joshua's death, Israel faced oppression under King Jabin and his general Sisera for 20 years. During this time of spiritual decline, God raised up Deborah as both prophetess and judge over Israel. When God chose Barak to lead the army, he refused to go without Deborah, leading her to step forward with remarkable courage despite it not being her intended role. Her faith and leadership proved crucial in Israel's victory. The story takes an unexpected turn when Sisera, fleeing from defeat, seeks refuge in Jael's tent. Though a Gentile woman, Jael courageously fulfilled God's prophecy through her bold actions. These two women exemplify how God uses unlikely people to accomplish His purposes through courageous faith. Their story teaches vital lessons about confronting fear, dealing decisively with evil, and trusting completely in God's plan, even when it seems improbable. Their examples challenge us to identify areas where fear holds us back and to take bold steps forward in faith.

Relationships in the body of Christ are not casual or optional — they are essential. In 1 Thessalonians 5, Paul urges believers to honor their leaders, live in peace, encourage the weak, be patient with everyone, and never repay evil for evil. Real love in the church requires real effort. It’s more than showing up; it’s giving our best to one another for Jesus’ sake.
In this message, we’ll explore how giving our all in relationships reflects Christ’s love, strengthens the church, and shapes a life of true joy and holiness. God has called us to more than attending — He’s called us to belong, to build, and to bless. Will you give your all?

The urgency of sharing the gospel becomes clear when considering that millions in Georgia alone didn't attend church last year. This reality calls for believers to be actively engaged in spreading the message of Christ. Being guidable - remaining open and sensitive to God's direction - is fundamental to effective evangelism. This guidance comes through various channels: circumstances, supernatural means including divine appointments, and the Holy Spirit's inner voice. The more time spent in God's Word and prayer, the more natural this guidance becomes, similar to mastering a new language.True obedience to God's calling often requires stepping out of comfort zones and following His direction even when it doesn't align with human logic. Like Philip, who left a thriving ministry in Samaria for an uncertain mission on a desert road, believers must respond immediately and completely to God's guidance. Recognizing opportunities to share faith involves being attentive to those experiencing life challenges, asking spiritual questions, or showing interest in faith matters. The focus should be on connecting with people who have hungry hearts, are experiencing life transitions, or are seeking deeper meaning beyond religious traditions.

The early church in Thessalonica stands as a powerful example of authentic Christian living, demonstrating remarkable faith despite facing severe persecution. Unlike other early congregations that struggled with various issues, the Thessalonians fully embraced and lived out the gospel message, causing their testimony to spread far beyond their city limits. Their unwavering commitment to Christ made them Paul's model congregation. To follow their example today requires several key commitments: imitating Jesus in both words and actions, standing firm under pressure while maintaining joy, and boldly sharing faith with others. Additionally, breaking free from modern idols that compete for devotion and maintaining an eager anticipation of Christ's return are essential elements. These principles challenge believers to evaluate their own lives and identify specific areas where they can better reflect Christ to others, whether at work, home, or in their community.

Biblical financial stewardship is a crucial aspect of our relationship with God, evidenced by over 2,300 verses in scripture addressing money management. Many Christians struggle with tithing due to fear, lack of trust, misunderstanding, or rebellion, despite its significance in demonstrating faith and obedience. The practice of tithing appears consistently throughout scripture, from Abraham's example before the Law to Jesus' affirmation and the New Testament's teaching on proportional giving.God promises specific blessings to those who tithe faithfully, including opening heaven's floodgates, pouring out unmeasurable blessings, and rebuking the devourer. Conversely, failing to tithe is considered robbing God and results in missed blessings and reduced ministry capabilities. The principle remains: living on 90% with God's blessing exceeds living on 100% without it. True financial stewardship begins with recognizing God's ownership of everything and our role as managers of His resources.

In times when following God doesn't seem to yield immediate rewards, while those who reject Him appear to prosper, many believers struggle with questions about God's justice and plan. This same challenge faced the people in Malachi's time, who had returned from exile and were faithfully serving God yet experiencing hardship. Through Malachi's prophecy, God reveals that His plan remains actively in motion, even when circumstances suggest otherwise. The fulfillment of prophecies, such as the coming of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ, demonstrates God's unwavering commitment to His eternal plan. God's timing differs from human expectations, and what appears as delay is actually divine patience, giving people opportunities for repentance and salvation. The path to remaining faithful during challenging times involves holding firmly to God's Word and maintaining focus on helping others find salvation. While evil may continue temporarily, God promises to bring complete justice in His perfect timing, dealing with wickedness like a refiner's fire that purifies all it touches.

Every individual possesses influence that creates ripples affecting those around them, whether in family life, workplace interactions, or church community. Drawing from Malachi's message to the priests, we learn that poor spiritual leadership can devastate through insufficient devotion to God, teaching watered-down doctrine, showing partiality in following God's word, and living inconsistently with proclaimed faith. These negative influences can result in lost blessings, damaged relationships with God, and negative impacts on future generations. Effective spiritual leadership, however, emerges from three key elements: right worship through standing in awe of God, speaking truth effectively, and walking with integrity. By examining our spheres of influence and making intentional commitments to lead by example, we can create positive ripples that draw others toward God rather than away from Him. This might involve starting family devotions, sharing faith at work, or actively encouraging others in their spiritual journey.

True worship is a comprehensive expression of devotion that touches every aspect of our daily lives, not just our Sunday morning activities. Many believers approach their relationship with God like a budget airline flight - seeking minimum investment while trying to maintain maximum worldly comfort. This half-hearted approach reveals a diminished view of God and results in giving Him our leftovers rather than our best. The biblical example from Malachi shows God rebuking priests for bringing diseased sacrifices, illustrating how we often give God less than we offer to our jobs, families, or other obligations. Acceptable spiritual sacrifices include offering our bodies as living sacrifices, practicing generous financial giving, maintaining continual praise and thanksgiving, performing good works, and leading others to Christ. The path to authentic worship requires moving beyond mere religious motions to experience true transformation. This involves evaluating our current patterns of worship, identifying areas where we're holding back from full surrender, and making specific sacrifices God is calling us to make. True worship always comes at a cost, but the transformation it brings is worth the investment.

Many believers experience a gradual shift from passionate devotion to routine religious practice, losing sight of their first love for Jesus. This phenomenon, addressed in Revelation 2 through the church at Ephesus, reveals how a congregation can maintain good works and discernment while losing their foundational love relationship with Christ. This love should serve as both roots for nourishment and ground for building our faith. The signs of losing first love include going through religious motions without heart engagement, treating ministry as business rather than calling, and showing up out of habit rather than devotion. The path to recovery involves a three-step process: remembering our initial encounter with Jesus, repenting from empty religion, and returning to authentic works that flow from genuine love. Without this vital connection, churches and individuals risk maintaining outward appearances while lacking true spiritual life.

Understanding that God is for us, not against us, is a transformative truth that impacts every aspect of our spiritual journey. Rather than seeing God as a harsh judge waiting for us to fail, we can embrace the reality that He actively supports and cheers us on. This truth is beautifully illustrated in Psalm 56, where David declares his confidence in God's support even amid great distress.God demonstrates His support through three key promises: He provides for all our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus, empowers us to overcome sin and temptation, and carries us through life's difficulties. No temptation is too great to overcome, and He gives strength to the weary and power to the weak. Even in our darkest moments, God is working all things together for our good. This understanding revolutionizes our relationship with God, shifting our focus from performance-based acceptance to grace-based love. When we truly grasp that God is for us, we can approach Him with confidence, knowing that His love and support are constant, regardless of our failures or successes.

In times of turmoil and uncertainty, finding peace can feel like an insurmountable task. This message delves into the powerful stories behind two timeless hymns, 'I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day' and 'It Is Well with My Soul.' Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote the former during a period of deep despair, while Horatio Spafford penned the latter after experiencing unimaginable loss. Both hymns serve as poignant reminders of God's enduring presence and the peace that surpasses all understanding. The Apostle Paul provides a 'prescription for a tough faith' in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, offering five imperatives: be alert, stand firm in faith, be courageous, be strong, and do everything in love. As we enter a new year, let us resolve to cultivate a tough faith that can withstand life's storms, trusting in God's guidance and strength.

Explore the powerful lessons from the story of Joseph and Mary in Matthew 1:18-25 on overcoming the fear of others' opinions. Many of us struggle with self-perception, often worrying about how others judge us. This fear can lead to poor decisions and a distorted self-image. Joseph faced a similar challenge when he discovered Mary was pregnant. Initially, he planned to divorce her quietly to avoid public disgrace, driven by fear of societal judgment. However, an angelic revelation helped him see the situation through God's eyes and follow His divine plan. This story emphasizes the importance of viewing ourselves through God's lens and relying on His Word for guidance. By embracing our true identity in Christ, we can make better decisions and live more fearlessly. Reflect on how fear of others' opinions affects your life and take steps to see yourself as God sees you. Keywords: overcoming fear, Joseph and Mary, Matthew 1:18-25, self-perception, God's perspective, divine guidance, Christian living, fear of judgment, true identity in Christ.

In 'Fear Not: Finding Comfort in Uncertain Times,' we explore the story of Mary and the angel Gabriel in Luke 1:26-38. This passage offers profound insights into dealing with fear and uncertainty, especially during the holiday season. Mary, a young woman facing a life-altering message, responds with faith and obedience despite her fears. The sermon emphasizes that even godly people face scary situations and that it's normal to have questions. God comforts us in our afflictions and reassures us that nothing is impossible with Him. Key takeaways include acknowledging your fears, seeking God's comfort, trusting in His power, and walking in obedience. Keywords: Fear Not, Comfort, Uncertain Times, Mary and Gabriel, Luke 1:26-38, Faith, Obedience, God's Power, Holiday Season, Scripture.

We belong to God, are a friend to God, are an exile in this world, and are ambassadors for Jesus Christ. When we discover or remember who we are, we will become who God wants us to be.

Surrender carries such a negative understanding today. It is admitting defeat. Yet when we consider the teachings of Jesus we are reminded that He sees things from a different perspective than we do. In this message, Pastor Cody Turner teaches us to consider together how surrender isn't defeat, but rather an invitation to the fullness of life that only comes after we surrender.

Today we are discussing the birth of our Savior as recorded in the first chapter of Luke’s gospel. Before you begin the podcast, make sure you have your Bible, a notepad or journal, pens, pencils, highlighters, etc.
If you don't have your Daily Discipleship Guide (Sunday School Book), you can Download Daily Discipleship Guide.
Study notes and questions for discussion:
The Son of God came into the world as a lowly baby, born of the young virgin Mary. This tiny bundle of joy, both fully man and fully God, left the glory of heaven in order to rescue His people from their sins. God’s people had been waiting for centuries for their promised King. As they were on the lookout for a powerful deliverer to arrive on the scene, the humble servant Jesus quietly descended to earth in a way no one expected. The promised Messiah had appeared, though His arrival took shape in such a quiet, meek way that most did not recognize it. In this session, we will take a look at just a few of the truths surrounding Christ’s birth that point to His coming to earth to bring majestic rescue to His precious people.
1. Jesus was born to be the promised eternal King (Luke 1:26-33).
Turn to page 28 in your Daily Discipleship Guide and read Luke 1:26-33. Onpage 28, fill in the blanks:
The virgin birth affirms that the eternal Son of God took on human flesh. The virgin birth is significant in that it serves as a reminder of Old Testament prophecies (Isaiah. 7) while also affirming both the deity and humanity of Christ.
What are some reasons Christians must affirm, believe, and defend the supernatural conception and virgin birth of Jesus? (pause the podcast and write your responses in your notepad or journal)
2. Jesus was born to be the promised mighty Savior (Luke 1:51-55).
Turn to page 29 in your Daily Discipleship Guide and I read Luke 1:51-55. Notice the tense of the verbs used to describe God’s actions in this passage. If you mark in your Bible, underline, circle or highlight the verbs in this passage.
When you find yourself in a difficult, unstable season of life (perhaps like the one we are in today), how can the reality of God’s sovereignty and power help you endure faithfully? (pause the podcast and write your responses in your notepad or journal)
Why is our merciful Savior better than just a powerful one? (pause the podcast and write your responses in your notepad or journal)
3. Jesus was born to be the promised humble Servant (Luke 2:4-7).
Turn in your Daily Discipleship Guide to page 30 and read Luke 2:4-7.
What are some positive examples of condescension (humility) that you have witnessed or experienced? (pause the podcast and write your responses in your notepad or journal)
Read Philippians 2:5-8
On page 30 in your Daily Discipleship Guide, fill in the blanks:
Christ’s Humiliation: Although God the Son was equal with God and worthy of all the glory God receives, He chose to humble Himself by taking on human flesh. He left His glorious state and came in the likeness of sinful flesh, and He experienced a humiliating death on a cross by becoming sin for us so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.
As we conclude this Bible study, I want to ask you these questions to ponder all week long, and the rest of your life:
How will you honor God the Son’s condescension to this earth to save sinners?
Will you commit yourself every day to living for Jesus by surrendering your life anew to Him?
Will you allow the Holy Spirit to guide you in action and speech?
With whom will share your praises of our mighty Savior so that they would come to Him in faith for salvation from sin, humbling themselves before Him?
As daily follow up to keep this Bible study alive in your mind during the week, turn to pages 32-34 in your Daily Discipleship Guide. Will you devote yourself to completing each day’s assignment? Remember, you must take the initiative with your own discipleship. And will you take the initiative to be responsible for the God-given mandate to disciple you own family?
Just as God commissioned John the Baptist to prepare Israel for the coming Messiah, He has commissioned all believers to prepare others to receive Jesus today.
Adam, the first man, was given "lordship", or stewardship, over God's creation. But when he sinned, he introduced death to all humanity. Jesus, the last "Adam" came to bring life. Eternal life.
We must develop a passionate desire to pray in order to connect with God as Jesus taught us:
How will you change your prayer habits today?
God's Word had been forgotten for centuries until King Josiah of Judah discovered the scroll. During those long years, the people had limited exposure to God's Word and lost their way. Far too many Christians experience the same drought of God's Word in their lives by limiting their intake of the Bible to one worship service a week.
God deserves our thanksgiving and gratitude, not our rebellion. Yet, we are rebellious by nature.
We don't gather in the huddle, call the play, then return to the bench. We're actually supposed to run the play!
Worship is adoration or reverence for God, and actions that demonstrate reverence for Him. From Ecclesiastes 5:1-7
What is the meaning of life? People have been asking this question for centuries. Listen to this message to see what God's Word tells about living a meaningful life.
Christians are not immune from finding themselves in the "pit of life." Through God's Word, we discover how God desires to draw us close to Him, even from within the pit.
It's so hard not to compare ourselves with others. The Bible teaches us to examine ourselves, not others. In this parable, Jesus did not tell us the end of the story. Both sons have gone astray, seeking their own satisfaction in ungodly ways, and neither is justified. But the father never stops loving both of his sons. Our Heavenly Father nevers stops loving His children, even when we go astray -- regardless of what we have done.
God is omniscient. He knows everything. God is omnipresent. He is everywhere at all times. No one can hide from God.
How is David called "a man after God's own heart" although he committed such a horrible sin? It is only through repentance and contrition that God accepts him.
God's glory is continually, abundantly, and extensively revealed and displayed throughout all creation.
The Psalms are inspired writings by humans who pour out their hearts to God in their human emotions.
What do we do when the mountains of life surround us and produce hopelessness? We call on the Lord who provides help, the Maker of Heaven and Earth.
This is a question most believers ask. Sincere believers cannot help but asking this question.
Laborers in Christ's kingdom must get personal. Serving starts with seeing others the way Jesus sees us.
Merciful people show compassion, forgive others, and take action to meet the needs of others.
Hunger and thirst are basic cravings and we are driven to fulfill them. God wants us to crave righteousness to be fulfilled and satisfied.
From the Sermon on the Mount Series Pastor Cade teaches from Matthew 5:5 Blessed Are Meek or Gentle
Those who are poor in spirit recognize their spiritual bankruptcy with no hope of recovery outside of Jesus.
When John saw Jesus in the distance coming toward him, John said, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” John testified that when he baptized Jesus, he saw the Holy Spirit of God descend upon Jesus like a dove. John knew then that Jesus was the Son of God.
Often, we live aimlessly and unfocused. Jesus lived completely and totally determined to fulfill His mission.
Following Jesus requires intentionality and transformation. Intentionality without transformation only produces a human effort empty of God's power. When we surrender all to Jesus, and become controlled by the Holy Spirit, we become disciples who fish for more disciples.
We think we can determine what we receive by what we put in, but that's not the way it works when it comes to God's grace.
God wants His people to experience the love of Christ in a way that goes beyond information and experience His love through relationship with Jesus Christ.

Jesus came to bring reconciliation and peace. Pastor Cade teaches from God's Word how you can receive and experience God's supernatural peace.
Preparing Our Hearts for Christmas: HOPE. Find REAL Hope by believing the Truth receiving God's presence and by exercising faith.
Our hope is in the redemption of our bodies, as well as our spirits. We will be transformed, and eternal life will be much greater than we can imagine.
Orphan Sunday 11.11.18. Missionary in Haiti Matt Bush teaches that believers have no choice but to care for orphans and widows.
Matthew 18:21-35 teaches the two-fold pattern of forgiveness: First, to be forgiven by our loving Father. Second to forgive others as we have been forgiven.
The church is like a choir. We all sing a particular part, but together we produce beautiful harmony. This is the design of God for His church.
The Church is much more than our cultural understanding and meaning of "church". The church is the Body of Christ, His temple, God's family, the Bride of Christ, begin built up by Jesus. Follow along as Pastor Cade explains the proper Biblical understanding of "church".
Holy Spirit brings comfort to chaotic lives. He transcends our circumstances and affirms our adoption as children of God. He the source of God's presence in our lives and declares the glory of Jesus to us.
What does the Bible mean that "Jesus ascended into heaven?" Heaven is a real place we cannot see or perceive. Jesus is there now preparing places for us. But He has not left us alone. He has sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us.
As believers, we embrace the cross of Jesus because it is central to the gospel, and it gives us power and purpose for living.
Jesus was conceived miraculously, lived a sinless life, died to pay for our sin, and was raised to give us new life.
When we look at Jesus through the Scriptures, we see a clear picture of Who He was: Creator, Sustainer, and Lord.
It is important to understand that God spoke all of creation into existence. He created everything from nothing.
