Y'all might not know this but...I am a big follower of the WNBA.  

Forget what you think...those ladies do work!  

That same appreciation is also shown to women's college hoops and on down to the high school level as well.  

I'm a coach in my mind. But that's a topic for another day.  

Today's company really is a high school basketball coach in the 804.  Some might argue that his program is the standard.  

With his Monacan Lady Chiefs earning four state titles over the last six seasons, it's tough to dispute.  

Add to that, his program has produced quite a few D1 student-athletes; including the area's first ever WNBA first round draft pick, Megan Walker (UConn/NY Liberty).  

Coach and I talked hoops, title runs, COVID-19, his visit to the Robert E. Lee monument, and more.
