Interview with Steve Tracey

AtMore-effective we work with small businesses to get the most out of their everyday efforts. We were initially set up to bring the most innovative methods in manufacturing to the SME sector, but like many before us we found that no matter how compelling an improvement was on paper, the “right way” was difficult to implement and even harder to maintain. There was some piece missing from the puzzle, and that was peoples innate behavioural biases.

After working with some of leading Behavioural Economic practitioners we migrated the business away from just manufacturing solutions, and now look at what behavioural factors are stopping businesses achieving their potential. We still help them identify practical solutions, but also address the barriers to their implementation. In addition we work with clients on using modern behavioural insights to make low/zero cost changes that will positively influence consumers, suppliers, staff and investors. We are about optimizing what businesses were going to do any way, to get the best return on their investment.
