Pastor David Guzik teaches a special message from Proverbs 4:11-12. God teaches us in wisdom to evaluate the path that we are on. We are responsible for evaluating that path’s direction and destination. As we look at where we’ve been, where we are going, and where we will be, it is important to make sure we walk in right paths.
In 1 John 3:3-9, John explains that what defines us as children of God is the love we have for one another. We are born from above for the purpose of living righteous lives full of love. The righteousness we practice should always be found in our love for one another to not validate sin, but also not to judge the sin of others in a condemning way. Even as we hunger and thirst for righteousness, we must always pursue love for one another.
In 1 John 3:3-9, John exhorts us to purify ourselves from the sin that can so easily entangle us. The first step is to identify the sin without justification, and then to bring it to Jesus for forgiveness and cleansing.
In 1 John 2:24-29, John encourages us to abide in the Word of God that we received when we first heard the gospel. That Word is eternal life to us, and God’s anointing lives within us. Let us live lives of righteousness so that we will be prepared when Jesus returns!
Words have the power of life and the power of death. As we look at various scriptures in Proverbs we learn how words can hurt and how they can heal.

Our new Senior Pastor, Tommy Schneider, gives his vision for the church from Jesus' high priestly prayer in John 17:20-23. Jesus prays that we would have a strong, intimate relationship with the Father and love one another. As we abide in our relationship with Jesus, we live and proclaim His message to the world in love that they would know that Jesus was sent to save and redeem them.
In Proverbs Chapter 5, Solomon warns of the deception and damage of sexual immorality. But he describes to us God's perfect design for true marital intimacy.
Daniel 12 finishes the vision that started in chapter 10, telling of a future time of trouble for Israel and the ultimate destiny of all humanity: everlasting life or everlasting shame.
Daniel 11 is one of the most remarkable prophecies of the Bible, explaining the rise of two dynasties –centered in Egypt and Syria, and how they affected the people of God. It’s also a preview of what will happen in the very last days.
In Proverbs Chapter 3, Solomon details a two step process in determining Gods will for your life. Complete confidence in the Lord and constant commitment to acknowledge Him in all your ways will result in the Lord directing your path.
Daniel 10 explains his strange and remarkable spiritual experience, and teaches us about the power and importance of prayer.
In Proverbs, chapter 2, Solomon describes how to pursue wisdom, and the promise attached to the pursuit. Solomon also writes of the peril of living without wisdom which ultimately leads to death!
While Daniel is praying, the angel Gabriel is sent by God to respond. The answer to Daniel's prayer ends up being one of the greatest predictive prophecies of the Bible. The 70 weeks prophecy gives us an understanding of Gods plan for the Jews and Jerusalem and convinces us that Jesus is the Messiah.

A king's dream sets the stage for Daniel to rise to the occasion and prove that the wisdom of God is greater than the wisdom of this world. The way that Daniel handles a difficult situation will teach us three behaviors we are to have when faced with seemingly insurmountable challenges.
Daniel 1:8-21 shows us how Daniel and his companions responded to a test where compromise would have been easy.
