1. Do you think of yourself as an 'independent; and 'self-sufficient' person? Why or why not?
2. Read Luke 12:13-21. What do you take from the parable [story] that Jesus shared with the crowd? In what ways can you relate to the landowner in the story?
3. What does financial freedom mean to you? How do you seek security, comfort, and status with your money and resources?
4. Do you ever 'worry' about your money/resources? When and why?
5. What would it look like for you to move away from self-reliance and step toward greater dependence on God in this area [i.e., gratitude, generosity, other]?
