Our Executive Pastor, Andy Hahn shares the powerful testimony of his battle with depression and anxiety and asks us to shift our understanding of our challenges, looking at them as tools God is using to transform us and grow us instead of burdens that will forever weigh us down.

Discussion Questions:

1. Are you currently dealing with (or have you dealt with) a tough challenge in your life? Share a bit of your story and how the challenge is affecting (or has affected) you.
2. When you face difficult times, what types of things do you do (both good and bad) to try and deal with your circumstance and ease your pain?
3. Read James 1:2-4…. Look back at a tough moment or season in your life. How did God use that “test” to shape your life and develop your faith for the better? What do you think God is still trying to teach you today?
4. As you consider what God has done in you through your challenge(s), how can you encourage someone else through what you have learned.
