We belong to God. We are not of our own, therefore whatever we do and with whatever we use, we must use and do it totye glory of God.
All the people Jesus showed interest in and used them for His service were those who either stood with Him in the eradication of sin or ran away from sin

Bowing down or falling before any human being is described as worshipping them. Any child of GOD possessing His Spirit including angels advocate the worship of God and refuse anyone bowing before them.
Our Lord Jesus Christ being the son of God here has no biological connotation. He is a heavenly being and came from God the Father
Fasting, prayer are tools God has given us to serve him and not our personal interests.

What you do outside the church building(temple) on the sabbath day is dependent on you godly nature that governs your interaction with your fellow men (neighbour).
and God will accept our worship based on the personality we have; godly or ungodly.
Romans 12:1 Therefore I urge you brothers, in view of God's mercies, offer your bodies as living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to the Lord.
THE PURPOSE OF PREACHING IS TO PRODUCE GODLY PERSONALITIES, WHO ARE DRIVEN BY THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST AND HIS WORD, (ie, a personality fit for spending eternity in Heaven). Therefore, the prime concern of the clergy including the Prophets, in this sense, is to open the eyes of the Church members, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.(Acts 26:18)
John 8: 31- 34 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my Word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. They answered Him, we be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: How sayest Thou, Ye shall be made free? Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
NB: Miracles do not produce godly personalities. Preaching is the Divine tool that God has given, by which godly personalities should be produced.

Prayer is a spiritual tool given to us by God to serve Him, not just communication with God . When Jesus' disciples inquired of Him on how to pray, they were willing to learn how to use the spiritual tool of PRAYER to serve the interest of God; not to use it as a means to make known to God what's on our grocery list.
God looks at the content within our heart, and when He sees it to be an honest and good heart as our Lord Jesus Christ taught in Luke 8:15, He corrects us when we are running into errors by His Spirit which dwells in us.
God is a holy God and He doesn't dwell where sin is, that is the spirit of disobedience. When God registers sin, He withdraws His presence which is His Spirit. In Exodus 33, God was displeased with Israel and withdrew His presence when he registered an attitude which was not driven by His word and His Spirit, but sent an angel before them lest He consumed them on the way because of their stiff-nakedness. In the case of Israel in Exodus 33, the presence of an angel did not signify the presence of God.
Psalm 19:7 The law of the Lord is perfect converting the soul. The testimony of the Lord is sure making wise the simple. Verse 10. More to be desired are they than Gold, yea than much fine gold. Sweeter than the honey and the honeycomb. If the word of God is true for the individual,it is also true for the church. If in our prayers the lord Jesus Christ tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, God wants the church as a whole to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Our Lord Jesus Christ died and resurrected to make His spirit accessible to His own elect and therefore we are dead to sin and alive to righteousness. Dead to sin in that the spirit of disobedience has left us and alive to righteousness in that the spirit of Christ has replaces the spirit of disobedience that left our body.
How does the church build in vain? The church builds in vain when the clergy and church leadership do the church without revelation from our Lord Jesus Christ who is the founder and head of the church. True revival produces Godly personalities as false revival increase the quantum of religious activities God sees as vain.
... For i know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgement... (Genesis 18:19). Abraham had this testimony from God; He was a prophet, a priest and a king. Sarah knew this divine role of Abraham hence called him "My Lord".
Understanding marriage as an institution created by God and for God. Marriage is used to serve the purposes and will of God.
Understanding "At the mention of the name of Jesus Christ, every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess Jesus is Lord."
The Lord Jesus Christ is an epitome of the kind of leadership God desires to see in His church. The leadership of the world lord it over their subjects but our Lord Jesus Christ taught that, whoever wants to become great must be a servant.
The Lord Jesus Christ in our dispensation is His spirit and His word. The words of the Lord Jesus Christ stands for His Spirit. Just as the Lord Jesus Christ did not come to seek His own will but the will of the Father, we as Christians ought to possess by the Spirit of Christ in order not to pursue our own will, agenda and purpose which God sees as iniquity.
Moses, the prophets and apostles all preached Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ was exalted and had preeminence in their teachings and preaching. They drove the church of our Lord Jesus Christ with the Spirit of Christ and the word of God. These did they so that our worship will be the type accepted by God, that is worshiping God in Spirit and in truth.
As members of the church of our Lord Jesus Christ, there is the need to depend on the Spirit of Christ for daily divine updates, to know what God expects from us in our dispensation. Worshiping God in spirit and in truth requires constant divine updates on daily basis, to enable us to be efficient and proficient in our service to God. Failure to keep updates in the things of God due to familiarity and love for old time religion, may result in the individual running out of grace completely and consequently, having the essential divine elements disabled and deactivated, making the individual an ordinary man again with its undesirable, concomitant results.
Why will God hate, despise and reject everything we do in the name of worship? God desires the worship which is directed to Him and not to the clergy and church leadership. The type of worship which is acceptable unto God is done in Spirit and in Truth. Our worship becomes vain when our moral nature that governs our interaction with our fellow men is unacceptable unto God. To avoid this, clergy and church leadership should allow themselves to be driven by the Spirit and the teachings of Christ first, and secondly learn to drive the church with the same.
Pursuing our personal interest as against that of God in the church, causes us to seek for the glory and approval of men, especially clergy and church leadership rather than that of God. We tend to honour and worship the clergy and church leadership beside and above God. The General Overseers (Go's), the Arc Bishops, the Bishops and the so called founders, become the reason for our worship and most of the things we do in life and not God. Consequently our worship to God is moved from the type which is acceptable, admirable, desirable and welcoming to God, to become a vain worship that result in the individual running completely out of grace, until every divine given element in the individual is disabled. THIS MUST BE REVERSED THROUGH THE INTENSIFICATION OF THE TEACHINGS OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.
God designed the preaching of the gospel as a divine tool to produce godly and righteous personalities that would uphold,promote and sustain wholesome standards of morality so as to make the believer relevant to God's will, purposes, work, interest, agenda, glory and honour to an extent that would make life better for humanity in time and eternity. Iniquity When a personal interest or desire is built in an individual contrary to that of God, with an inner determination to pursue it to its logical end, he becomes corrupt as well as his message and thus produce religious ungodly personality whose worship is considered to be vain by God. There is the need therefore for the clergy and church leadership to guard against iniquity.
