MAN UP! Gods Way, was founded in an effort to call “lukewarm” Christian men to stop being “spiritual sissies” and start living up to the challenge that God has laid out before us in His holy Word. Too many men in the church are living a disobedient life by being “lukewarm”. The consequences, for living this way, are extreme. Look at what Jesus says “So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of My mouth”. (Rev 3:16) Neither hot nor cold, is what many Christian men have become. In an effort to change the direction of Christian men, MAN UP! Gods Way is challenging the manhood of these men. MAN UP doesn’t believe that being a man means you can chew through steel or bend iron, but that being a man means we will be disciplined in our relationship with Christ, in our marriage, as a father, in our service at church, at work, in accountability to one another and in discipleship. It’s time, time to MAN UP! Mission Statement MAN UP! Gods Way is dedicated to changing the way Christian men live and act. We want to change Christian men from being complacent, lazy and disobedient to Gods word. With Jesus Christ as our example, we will strive to teach men to be more Christ-like every day.

Greg Munck is a combat-promoted Marine who served his country with honor during the Gulf War. He is also the accomplished author of the book, The Guide — Survival, Warfighting, Peacemaking. One out of every five children, teens, and adults in America has a diagnosable mental illness in any given year. And the lives of those who love them are also affected by their mental health challenge. This means that a mental health challenge touches approximately 50% of the American population.
And while the doctor, therapist, and medicine are necessary, they are not enough. Suicide rates continue to rise. The medical (the doctor, therapist, and medicine) aspects of mental health recovery can lead to a type of “learned helplessness.”
When someone’s life is interrupted by mental illness, it can be tough to see a practical way forward with day-to-day life, and a good future seems out of reach. Feelings of hopelessness begin to settle in. This hopelessness can lead to suicidal thinking and even death by suicide. W
A serious gap exists between someone receiving medical treatment for mental illness and them learning how to live well in spite of it. This gap is critical. So we become the bridge, the guide from the point of diagnosis to living well. Research shows that finding a way to live a hope-filled life can be best caught, not taught, by peers who have “been there” and are now living well. Research also shows that the best antidote for hopelessness is a hope that is rooted in faith.
We provide those who are hopeless a safe place to process their pain and experience faith-filled hope modeled, shared, and given in support groups, classes, coaching, and resources that are led and written by peers who are living well in spite of their mental health challenge. This serves as a bridge between someone’s diagnosis and living well in spite of their diagnosis. Our approach is based on seven mental health recovery principles and 25 years of clinical research on hope. And it works.
Because of Fresh Hope, thousands of people are living active, faith- and hope-filled lives. They are enjoying their relationships, their families, their work, and are feeling more hopeful than ever before. They are living well in spite of their mental health challenge. They are thriving!

We train, disciple, and mentor people affected by disability to exercise their gifts of leadership and service in their churches and communities. Dr. Cameron Staley is a clinical psychologist who is passionate about helping individuals improve their mental and sexual health. In his TEDx talk, Changing the Narrative Around the Addiction Story, Cameron shares details from his research and counseling experience regarding helpful ways to talk about sexuality and how to effectively reduce unwanted pornography viewing through Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). To make these principles more accessible to those who are struggling with pornography, he developed the Life After Pornography online program and the Life After Pornography Coach app. Cameron also provides online counseling services to residents of Utah and Idaho and coaching services for individuals seeking additional support in applying the mental and sexual health principles found in the Life After Series programs. Seth Day is currently a full-time instructor teaching courses in Public Speaking for Andrews University and a course in Issues in Grieving and Loss for Advent Health University. Seth has a MA in Human Service Counseling from Regent University, and is currently pursuing a second MA in Educational Psychology from Andrews University.
Seth is passionate about youth and young adult ministry, having served as a youth and young adult pastor in Denver, Colorado and working for several years in public schools with at-risk youth.

ADAM: OUR INSPIRATION
Adam was diagnosed with synovial sarcoma in November 2016. It was the second time cancer would impact his life. But cancer would not stop him from living, from loving. Nor would it diminish his faith.
Adam really disliked the home page photo for one reason: he hated being without his beloved mop of ginger! But for us, it reveals why he inspires us: Despite any uncertainty, knowing that he was loved gave him the strength to face whatever lay ahead. His life wasn't about 'cancer' but about living, being grateful, sharing love, and being full of real joy! And this became an example for anyone that knew and loved him.
Our motivation is simply our love of Adam, and there are two ways we would like you to understand Riding for Adam:
Riding for Adam. Every time we ride, we carry Adam with us. We remember his life, his humour, and the impact he made on so many people’s lives. We wish he was with us. Yet as we ride we can ‘hear’ him cheer us on…
Riding for Adam. Adam is a Hebrew name, which is related to ‘red’ (appropriate, given his ginger hair). But it also is a generic term for ‘humanity.’ So, when we ride for Adam, we ride for everybody because the benefits of research are universal. We ride for those whose lives will be changed by cancer, for their families and loved ones. And our Adam would approve, because he was ‘other’ minded.
We always ride with hope. We hope for an end to cancer, for a day when cancer becomes an entry in history books. And this hope is not wishful thinking, for scientists are blessed with an incredible intelligence and they are discovering ways to make that hope reality. Hope is based on the trajectory of past discoveries, current developments, and future outcomes. Or as we find in the Bible, and conflating hope with faith, ‘Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen’ (Hebrews 11.1).

Malawi has a population of 15 million people and is ranked one of the poorest and, at the same time, one of the most friendly countries in the world. In the district of Dowa, there are about 300,000 people. It is an area that covers 20 x 30 miles. In 2010, there were 3,459 documented cases of sexual abuse. Out of those cases only 39 men were prosecuted for an average of 2-3 years. The average age of the girls was 12-13 years old.
To date, When the Saints has built the only long term housing facility in the country aimed at holistically rehabilitating those who have been sexually abused.
The Troy Dream Center is a faith-based residential program designed to support men who are overcoming life-controlling issues, and recovering from drug and alcohol addictions, depression and abuse. The program is structured to eliminate distractions so that participants can focus on building a healthy foundation to rebuild their lives.
