We are sisters. And we love a good life chat. We talk about everything from our goals for the year, how to make new friends, and why we sometimes hate weddings to what we're currently reading. With recurring segments like, "Wine & Love", our hope is that you laugh (or whine) along with us as you get to know us better and maybe even feel like a part of the family.
The Chatty Sisters celebrate their first time releasing back to back episodes in almost TWO years. Crazy times, people. This week, Kelly & Caroline discuss themselves at retirement age. Despite this though, they have fun digging into their personalities a bit more and just being back to podcasting! Who thinks they should post more frequently? Leave some encouragement on Instagram @chattysisterspodcast!

The temperature is (slowly) rising here in New England and we've been seeing the sun a LITTLE bit more in April than we did in March. The Chatty Sisters are SO ready for spring and a fresh start and positivity and all the Trader Joe's tulips that they dedicated a whole podcast to it. This week, Kelly and Caroline are reviewing their goals that they set at the beginning of the year and setting the intention to come back to the ones that they lost a bit in March. (Can we all just agree March is the worst month of the year??) If you want some motivation to put your winter clothes into storage, open up the windows and air out the stuffy house, and start spring cleaning- this is the podcast for you! Leave us your own positivity and motivation on Instagram @chattysisterspodcast!
Turns out the Chatty Sisters have a lot of pet peeves!! In fact, they have to break them down into categories like: technology, work-related, inefficiency, grocery store occurrences, soo many driving pet peeves, and just people being overall stupid. Sorry, they're not sorry. This is basically one full hour of rants, but don't worry, they keep it light, funny and work some positivity in there too. The Sisters hope this is an episode you can laugh along to and they definitely want to hear your pet peeves as well!!

The Chatty Sisters are finally diving in to Kelly's favorite topic: reading! The Sisters chat about their first memories of reading, where/when/how/why they read, their favorite genres, and some of Caroline's random questions regarding reading. Here's another one: why is "read" spelled the same in the past tense and present tense, but not pronounced the same? No wonder English is such a hard language to learn! Anyways, if you love to read, you'll love this episode and probably want to curl up with a good book once you're done!
The Chatty sisters are talking about texting: when they first remember texting, why they like it and whether or not they use periods when texting. Of course they also share many of their texting related pet peeves and they want to hear yours! Most importantly, please never respond to our texts with the word "ok."
The Chatty Sisters are BACK with their first episode of 2017! This week, Kelly and Caroline are reviewing 2017 and talking 2018 "SMART" goals (lol. jk.). Tune in to hear what they think are the benefits and potential pitfalls of male/female friendships. And, as always, share your own experiences on Instagram or Facebook!
In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, the Chatty Sisters reminisce about family traditions they remember from childhood and how these traditions have changed and morphed into new ones over the years. For some unknown reason, they both recall the stairs at their great-grandmother's house in great detail, even though Kelly and Caroline were probably about 7 and 3 years old respectively. As usual, they laugh a lot... mostly at Caroline's confusion at the concept of a food drive and her undying love for tswift.. and how Kelly is so. loud. though. #extrovertproblems. Be sure to stick through to the very end, you're welcome!
For once, the Chatty Sisters have some true expert advice (thanks Caroline!) about managing digital photos. They chat about Caroline's #1 rule learned in photography school, why they think it's important to print photos and what companies they support. It wouldn't be a complete episode without Kelly's Stay at Home mom woes and Caroline questioning the next step in her career path.

It's time to catch up with the Chatty Sisters this week! Have you been wondering how wedding planning is going for Caroline? Or how Kelly is doing with all those Back to School goals she set? (Do they even REMEMBER the goals they set a couple weeks ago?! Spoiler alert: Not really.) As always, we would LOVE it if you can share our podcast with a friend, leave a review on iTunes and follow us on Instagram @chattysisterspodcast. If you do, you might even get a shout out on the show!
Have you ever wondered what Caroline and Kelly were like during their teen years? No? Well, listen anyway to relive your own youth! Caroline talks about her love for sports and time spent on AIM. Kelly laughs at her hours spent on the phone and telling really stupid lies to avoid having to answer more questions. They both share what they wish they knew back in those years (even though Caroline "peaked" during this time) and even read some listener thoughts! Also listen for: amusing Max stories, Kelly's monthly tech loves and more!
The Chatty Sisters are back to w(h)ining and they really need to know WHY is adulting and paying bills so difficult?! But actually, please tell them! This episode is perfect for those who have been "should"-ing all over themselves lately and want to just laugh it off!!
In honor of their grandmother who passed away last week, the Chatty Sisters are talking all about motherhood. Caroline asks Kelly all kinds of questions about her experience deciding to be and being a mom. This is an episode for not just moms or soon-to-be moms, but those deciding if they want to have kids, daughters, friends of moms, etc.!
This week the Chatty Sisters share what they do (or don't do!) to stay healthy when life gets super busy. Together they strategize about how Caroline can stop making a big dinner at midnight on Saturday nights, and debate whether going to the grocery store daily or doing grocery delivery saves the most money. Of course there are a few unexpected interruptions like a 10 minute tangent about small talk and a toy in Kelly's playroom that Caroline finds very creepy! Find us on Instagram or Facebook to see a photo!
Everryyybodyyy. Please tell me you all got the Backstreet Boys reference. Okay, cool. This week, the Sisters just kinda... catch up! It's been a couple weeks since they've talked and the Chatty Sisters are as chatty as ever. In fact, they never really get passed their wine & love segment. Catch up with the Sisters as they talk about their favorite adventures over the last couple of weeks, how they're sad summer is already coming to an end (the August breakdown is in full force!), and more. For some unknown reason they spend a lot of time talking about weddings, bridesmaid dresses and sequins. Don't ask them why. If you're looking to pass the time during your drive to the Cape this weekend or to work today, then Kelly & Caroline are coming to your rescue!
This week, the Chatty Sister's introduce Kelly's Husband, Eric, to the podcast! Following in suit with Caroline and Dan the week before, Kelly and Eric ask each other some questions followed by some (slightly inappropriate at times) rapid fire questions. Hear all about how Kelly and Eric REALLY met, how they think they've changed since having children, where they really want to travel to, and so much more. You'll also FINALLY get to hear Eric's Boston accent (and his Russian accent..) so that is reason enough to give this a listen! :)
Yup, you heard that right. Kelly & Caroline are finally bringing their men on the podcast! Due to scheduling restraints, the Sisters thought this would be the perfect time to introduce two of the most referenced people on the show: Dan & Eric. This week, Dan attempts to overcome his nerves and fill Kelly's big shoes (voice?) on the podcast. Caroline and Dan take turns asking each other questions, ending with a bunch of rapid fire questions. Tune in to hear Dan's take on how he met Caroline, what the opening scene to a movie of Dan's life would be (you will NEVER guess. Like actually.), what Caroline says she wants to see when she looks back on her life in 40-50 years, and a whole lot more!
This week the Chatty Sisters respond to a listener request for more information about bullet journals! They share all about their love for planning and how they do it. Caroline sings the praises of a 3 task "to do" list and Kelly talks about her obsession with her "habit tracker." By the end of the episode, Caroline was lost in a sea of bullet journal Instagram posts and ready to buy her own. You never know, it might happen to you too!
The Chatty Sisters are back after a week hiatus for the Fourth of July and they have exciting news! Caroline is engaged! For all those who thought this would never ever happen (no? Just Caroline?), you will be pleasantly surprised as she rehashes the entire day, and shares all the things that maybe people don't talk so much about when they get engaged. (LIKE THAT IT'S AWKWARD. NO??? NO ONE ELSE???? haha.) Laugh along as Kelly and Caroline talk about social media "announcements", destination weddings, wedding guilt, and so much more. Caroline may even sort of ask Kelly to be her Matron of Honor on this show. Not that we're giving anything away or anything!
This week, the Chatty Sisters have just returned from an amazing swim in Walden Pond and they excitedly talk generations, goals, things they're loving, and more! They may not actually know where generations begin or end, the names of all the generations, or even if they are true "millennials" or not, but they attempt all the same. Jack also joins them this week, so if you're wondering what the constant background noise is.. that's him. They apologize in advance! Listen along for some solid entertainment during your long car rides throughout the holiday weekend! They can't wait to hear all about your baby boomer parents and thoughts on millennials!
This week, the Chatty Sisters talk motivation. Specifically, how they can use Gretchen Rubin's Four Tendencies and what they learned last week about their own personalities to help them reach their goals. Caroline talks about her workout rut and Kelly explains why she doesn't always see the point of cleaning. The Sisters also decide they need to rename their infamous, "Wine & Love" section to #homeownerproblems since it seems like neither Kelly nor Caroline can catch a break in that department! Enjoy catching up with the Chatty Sisters in this fun episode- and, you never know, you might even learn a thing or two about how to motivate yourself!
Are you wondering if Kelly and Caroline are really as different as they claim? After weeks of agreeing with each other on everything (re: birthdays, hugging and how adorable Baby Jack is), this week the Sisters geek out on Myers Briggs personality types and show off how different they truly are. They explain what all those random letters mean (even if they STILL don't make sense), they try to guess each other's personality and they even get into the juicy details of what their significant others got on the test. Cue: Light Bulb Moment. Plus, the Sisters discuss Caroline's latest #homeownerproblems (hint: she STILL doesn't have working laundry!) and Kelly's #SAHM problems (hint: she still hasn't had a day off since 2014!). If you've been waiting to really get to know the Chatty Sisters, this is the episode to listen to!

(Hint: NO!), are surprise parties actually fun?, how Kelly feels about being a whole year older, and more! As always, the Sisters catch up on life too.. like if Jack has decided to disown his mom, Kelly, during sleep training and how Caroline almost dropped dead and/or blew up her new house on Sunday. They hope you enjoy this fun, light-hearted conversation as much as they did!
Welp. The Chatty Sisters are back and they recommend you listen to this one with a glass of wine in tow because the Sisters are all over the place today. Kelly has two kiddos at home and you hear from them both (a lot. Sorry in advance.) and Caroline has reached a state of complete exhaustion after moving and another photography-filled weekend, and just isn't making sense anymore. Together, the Sisters decide this would be a good episode to cheers with a glass of wine and discuss "weird things they are good and bad at". They told you it would be a random one! Just get ready for a lot of laughs, a lot of kiddo chaos, and a lot of confusion - you know, real life!
With this weekend marking the unofficial start of summer, the Chatty Sisters discuss all things summer. They share what they have planned, goals and even what books they think you should read. Of course no summer podcast would be complete without mentioning a few of their favorite summer drinks. Listen to hear if Kelly's family survived two days without her or if she had to pay $600 to come home a day early. Also, did Caroline fall on any wedding guests this weekend? Finally, did the Chatty Sisters figure out a way to end the show? (Hint, no. No, they did not!)
This week, the Chatty Sisters cover the cringe-worthy topic of GUILT. Which is really just an episode about their #firstworldproblems. But they discuss it anyway in the hopes that maybe one person out there can relate. WARNING: You may not want to listen to this one on the flight to your friend's wedding this weekend. Not to toot their own horn or anything, but they think they're pretty funny and you may laugh out loud. Follow along as Kelly discusses her experience dropping Max off at school in the rain Monday morning, Caroline explains why she's afraid everyone is going to think she's an ass after listening to this episode, and the Sister's attempt to come up with a new signature goodbye for the podcast.
Catch up with the Chatty Sisters as they talk about their experiences with homeownership. Caroline just closed on a condo last month and Kelly is sharing all of her "advice" about caring for a home (or more like her husband's advice haha). The Sisters chat about what they were looking for in a home, what they like about homeownership, what they dislike, and what their respective "responsibilities" are as a homeowner. Of course, prepare to laugh along as you hear about Caroline's most recent clumsy moment, Kelly's need for "services" according to their mom, and more!

As always, the Chatty Sisters laugh a lot, get sidetracked and have a grand ole time talkin' all things travel!
Surprise! The Chatty Sisters are back for April School Vacation week coming to you live and unfiltered from the cozy, rainy Cape Cod. This week, Kelly and Caroline discuss .. wait for it .. HUGGING! This may be their most random topic yet, which triggers many laughs and silly hugging-related stories. Listen up to learn why Kelly loves the "Irish Goodbye", how Caroline has come to appreciate a good solid hug as an adult, and why both sisters are pretty much the most awkward humans on the planet! The Chatty Sisters hope this episode makes you laugh and want to give someone a 20-second (or longer) hug today!
This week, the Chatty Sisters tackle the (somewhat) uncomfortable subject of having friends in different life stages. Kelly is ALL about it, raving about all the benefits having friends that are different from her has brought into her life. Caroline, on the other hand, has struggled a bit more with the "comparison trap" in her twenties. This episode is great for anyone who is feeling a little lost or suddenly finds that they can't quite relate to their friends like they used to. As always, the sisters invite you to laugh along with them as they talk friendships, being left behind, feeling jealous, and ... labor?
This week, the Chatty Sisters are SO excited it's Spring and the warm(er) weather is motivating them to declutter! Despite what their mother might think, they actually love a clean, organized house, and are sharing some of their best tips for decluttering, getting rid of clothes, and keeping papers (relatively) organized. Join them in their cleaning and decluttering efforts this Spring! Even better, listen to this podcast episode WHILE you go through your own closet. If you're asking yourself whether you need that fifth pair of jeans that you can only wear with one specific top, the answer is probably not!
This week, the Chatty Sisters discuss the pros and cons of working for someone else and working for yourself. Kelly talks the benefits of a steady job, income, and work life, while Caroline shares what it's like to be able to watch Lost re-runs whenever she wants and have to pay for her own health insurance. They also try to figure out what personalities are needed for each type of work life. Tune in if you're thinking about starting your own business, want a little sneak peek behind Caroline's work-life (and why she woke up on Monday morning with no car and no clean underwear), and to find out Kelly's new strategy for staying off Facebook!
This week, the Chatty Sisters take on all the sticky situations around weddings, including everything from Wedding Showers to transportation logistics. Basically, they're sharing what not to do and other random pet peeves they have. But don't worry, they also share what they LOVE about weddings too. Hopefully this episode makes you feel a little less alone while you throw that friend of yours her 6th shower.
The Chatty Sisters are back discussing their goals for 2017. Kelly and Caroline also share some of their biggest helpful tips to setting and sticking with goals. Tune in to find out why Caroline is so focused on saving money this year and the hilarious thing Max did at the park the other day!
