Today's episode is another special edition - where the kids get to visit with their cousins from out of state!
I'm afraid we have another episode with bad sound quality, but this time for a different reason. We weren't able to record in our usual corner since there were eight kids to fit around the mic. So there's a lot of wiggling and knocking on the table, and a lot of Violet noise. Hopefully, we'll have better sound quality in our next episode, which will air on July 20th, due to family vacay!

Gillian lost not one, but two front teeth today! The cover picture in this podcast was taken after the first tooth came out and just before she lost the second. She was pretty thrilled! We're so very grateful this week - for God's hand of protection and healing on our precious Aunt Amber, and we're so thankful for a brand new baby boy in our extended family. We're thankful for a great library in our little town, too. A library where the librarian actually suggests that you bring your kid in squeaky shoes - because honestly, that's what happened.

It's probably time to share Kinsley's favorite book about cryptids, which is Tales of the Cryptids.
It's safe to say that Plutarch's Lives is not one of Kinsley's favorites, but she and Sophie are both good sports about wading through it anyway.
Haliburton's Complete Book of Marvels was not an inexpensive book, but it has been a huge hit in our house, and therefore was a very worthwhile purchase for our family library.
In case you wonder about the talk of beating one's pate with a good stout cudgel - we have been reading The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood together. It has been a surprisingly big hit amongst the children.

It provides endless entertainment for road trips of any length along with lots of very silly conversation. Sophie made us an entire gallon of Perfect Iced Coffee the other day. She used Pioneer Woman's recipe, so you know it was good. We use Better Stevia Extract at our house. It isn't the least bit bitter.
