Today’s guest is the dynamic and immensely energetic R.M. Easterly. She is the founder and president of THYIM, which stands for They Help You In Minutes. (Pronounced like “THEM”)
THYIM INC. is a new revolutionary tech marketplace company meeting the needs of many. They provide common indoor, outdoor, and roadside services to everyday people in 15 minutes or less.
THYIM is a gig company where people can sign up to be helpers and provide services like changing a tire, bringing you a gallon of gas, doing the dishes after Thanksgiving, doing yard work, helping you move heavy furniture and even removing a spider from your house! All the things you need help with but can’t (or don’t want to) call a friend or family member to help with. You can even send a helper to a friend or family’s house if you can’t make it to help!
Their biggest value is that the person arrives within 15 minutes (or they let you know as soon as someone can.) The prices are affordable and the helpers, get paid the biggest percentage of any gig job. Think Uber, DoorDash, Shipt, etc. How does she know? R.M. worked for every gig job she could find to research them for her business.
This is all done through an app. You can sign up to be a helper or you can request help.
THYIM is headquartered in Lansing, Michigan and one of their biggest markets is currently Detroit. R.M. says they have more need for services than they have helpers. The company is in the seed/investment stage and growing. They plan to take it nationally with additional funding.

Today, we have the honor of interviewing Priscilla Bordayo, an inspiring advocate from Crime Survivors for Safety & Justice. Priscilla shares powerful insights into her work, focusing on rehabilitation and restoration for both victims and perpetrators of abuse. Her newest role is the State-Wide Manager for CSSJ.
Priscilla has been featured on TCT, Moms Of Miracles, Driven By Women, The Every Day Series, Every Dope Girl, and the Cover Of Women’s Lifestyle Magazine (2019). She was the 2019 Women of the Year and 2020-10 over the next 10 award winner. She is currently up for the Governor’s award! Priscilla currently works for two nonprofits called EVE (Ending Violent Encounters) and Crime Survivors For Safety and Justice. CSSJ is her first National position where she is currently working on the Michigan Safer Act that focuses on victim Compensation and rehabilitation for those who commit crimes.
Priscilla’s Philosophy and Work Belief: “Hurt people hurt people, but healed people heal people.” Priscilla’s mission is to break the cycle of abuse through healing and forgiveness. * Focus: Rehabilitation and restoration for victims and perpetrators of incest. * Advocacy*: Engages with state legislators and senators to enact laws that support her vision of ending the culture of abuse.
Priscilla’s Journey and Personal Story Background: Survivor of sexual abuse by her father, who was also a pastor. + Discovery of family history revealing generational cycles of abuse. * Forgiveness: Strong faith-based belief in forgiveness; Priscilla forgave her parents and now helps others find healing through forgiveness. * Transformation*: Shares stories of personal transformation and the power of complete forgiveness.
Crime Survivors for Safety & Justice InitiativesAs an advocate, Priscilla collaborates with state legislators and senators to improve laws supporting crime victims. A significant achievement includes her work on the Victim Compensation laws in Michigan, which now allow victims more time to report crimes and access compensation. Additionally, she has helped establish trauma recovery centers with Henry Ford Hospital.

Her volunteer work at a domestic violence shelter shifted her path to supporting underrepresented communities. Joining CASA on the day pandemic stay-home orders began, Rachel led the organization through significant growth by transitioning to online systems, expanding their reach, and serving 40% more children annually from 2020 to 2023.
CASA volunteers, appointed by judges, advocate for children weekly, ensuring their needs are met within the system and community. Rachel’s leadership has been pivotal in this expansion, providing stability and continuity for children. TWIGS has partnerships with oncology social workers at Sparrow and McLaren, and the organization’s services are available in the Greater Lansing area. The services that TWIGS provides are vital to cancer patients who need someone to help them manage their daily tasks.
With TWIGS, cancer patients can focus on their treatments while the organization takes care of their daily responsibilities.

Hannah is married to her husband of 16 years, Ken, and together, they have four rambunctious but lovable pups: Harley, Hershey, Honey Bear, and Hugo.

Sarrah used to be someone who didn’t want to be photographed. She came to realize that many women are hesitant to have their photos taken because they are self-conscious of how they look. For her, every woman should feel confident about their photos and every woman should exist in photographs.
The relationships and connections built in doing photography with women are what excites her the most.
As a business owner and a mother of a 6-month old baby, the big thing for her is finding a work-life balance.
Sarah also found her motivation and inspiration from a great photography community called Sue Bryce’s Education which she is a part of. There, she finds how to value your time and worth.
Listen as Sarrah shares about how she overcame some negative reactions when she’s starting her business and what advice she has for all the women who are not confident taking their photos.

Kristine serves as the Director of Ele’s Place-Capital Region.
Kristine and her husband, Scott, strongly believe in the mission that no child shall grieve alone and both had witnessed the effects of unresolved childhood grief. In December 2014, Scott was killed by a drunk driver returning from their son’s hockey game. Kristine and her children placed a new hat on and started at Ele’s Place to process their grief. She is passionate about ensuring that all children receive the necessary services to find peace and lead productive lives.
Kristine went full circle with Ele’s Place. She began as a financial supporter and volunteer, moved into an employee role, and someone who walked through the program utilizing their peer-to-peer support.
