The Christian who prays, believes, obeys, stands firm, and evangelizes puts fear in the Devil.
God loves a humble heart, a loving heart, a heart that seeks Him, the obedient, a heart of gratitude, a cheerful giver and a heart that worships.
Can you say, with honest conviction, that any of God's promises have failed the believer? God's promises cannot fail.
God has promised to equip you to do His will, but only if you want to do His will. Will you trust Him to keep His promises?
Promises that are made, are only as good as the maker of the promise. Since God cannot lie, His promises are true.
God promises to: protect you, always hear your voice, grant you peace, wipe away your tears, always be with you, never forsake you and never leave you.
When God asked Solomon what he wanted, he asked for wisdom to rule God's people. God also blessed Solomon with riches, honor and peace for forty years.
Job lost all of his family, his wealth and his health--but he did not lose his faith in God. David became wealthy through mergers and acquisitions. Both men were blessed by God to become wealthy.
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were very rich in cattle, sheep, camels, donkeys and servants. The children of Israel were slaves in Egypt, but when they departed for the Promised Land, they had plundered Egypt of its wealth.
The Bible teaches due diligence, multiple streams of income, inheritance, compound interest and the value of a prudent wife.
The Book of Psalms is a hymnal of Israelite worship and the 119th number of Psalms contains 176 verses. Verses 33-40 contain a prayer of personal devotion that will bless you.
I believe that the saddest words in the Bible are "I never you, depart from Me." He will speak those words to a group who gave lip-service to the Savior, but not their lives. Examine yourself and make sure you are not in this group.
The seventh chapter of Matthew contains Jesus' teaching on judging others and what I believe are the two most powerful verses in the Bible.
Jesus teaches on fasting, treasure and worrying. Our priorities must be aligned with God's way of doing things, to receive the benefits of His way of doing things.
Our attitude toward helping others, our motivation for prayer and our philosophy for forgiveness are all discussed by Jesus at the Sermon on the Mount. How do we match up with the standards set by our Savior?

Why did Jesus curse the fig tree? He denounced the fig tree because it had no fruit. He compares the fig tree to Israel, as it was not bearing fruit. The lesson is also for us. Are we bearing fruit? Are we being an example for the world to see?
The temple was designated as a House of Prayer for the nations. It had become a farmer's market during Passover. Jesus took action and cleansed the temple. Check to see if your temple needs cleansing.

Satan has many names in the New Testament. His sin was pride, and he believes that he is worthy of praise. He is not.
Christians are not perfect, yet the Word of God says to be perfect. What this really means, is to be complete. God wants to do a work in us, to make us complete.
Lot was a righteous man, but he compromised. His choices placed his family in danger. Today, the church is choosing to compromise, placing it in danger.
Jesus teaches that there will be two resurrections: one for the saved and one for the wicked. Your choice now will determine your future.

God continues to deal with the rebellion of those who believe they are in control.

Since God is All Knowing, He knows who will be saved and go to heaven.
He has known this from before the beginning of time and that is good news for some.
Others will not spend eternity in heaven and that is the bad news.
