The Kingdom of Heaven is changeless and has no need for change. Perfection, Peace, Joy and Perfect Love remain unaltered and are shared by everyone. It stands to reason that if this world is not real, then we have attached ourselves to an illusion.

This episode begins Ch 30: The New Beginning. It explores the Rules for Decision. When we make judgments and decisions, they are usually based on how we have always responded or reacted to a situation. These rules change the response and take away the judgment. It is a new way of responding, usually not a go-to, and it asks you to let spirit guide your response. It requires an open mind and willingness to accept that your way may not be the best way to resolve a conflict or deal with a situation.

This episode shares the last two laws of chaos. These last two focus on our egos need to control everything. The first is to have what everyone else has, because if we don't it will feel like something is missing from our lives. The last one suggests that we have control over love. We want to control love and all the emotions attached to it. If we are able to do this then like the fourth law, we can have what we desire most. God plays little or no role in these two laws.

This episode focuses on our preoccupation with bodies. We have a misperception of love because we use bodies as a way to measure love. This happens through idolizing bodies and attaching ourselves to ours and others. The Holy Spirit is not an attachment to a body, it is a relationship with our higher selves. We are supposed to focus on the relationships that support and uphold our journeys not confusing them as our journey.

This episode will discuss the third and fourth obstacles to peace that we place upon ourselves. This world has made a number of illusions that we have bought into. The first is that the body is somehow important for this journey, and second that God is to be feared. These last two obstacles need to be considered and overcome. These bodies serve a purpose, what that purpose is - is why you are here. God is a loving and caring entity. He/She is not human and has no human qualities. God loves us unconditionally and sees no faults or sins, that is a human interpretation of God.

This episode explores the first two obstacles of peace - our desire to get rid of it and the value we place on our bodies. We need to attain peace before we can show others how to be at peace. Guilt plays a large role in why we cannot get to that place where peace resides. The second obstacle is our bodies. We place far too much emphasis on our bodies and as a result we attract pain and suffering. The body is a means not end. It is in understanding its true purpose will peace be possible.

This episode talks about what true empathy is, not what our egos have created. To empathize with another is to share weaknesses not strengths. It seems like a harsh statement, but if you understand the motive of the ego. It makes total sense that we would want to find others weaknesses to feel our own strengths. It becomes a comparative thing. The Holy Spirit asks that we let Him/Her be our guide when trying to help another and seek not to share pain, but rise about it.

Heaven is a state of mind, in this life. It is not only achievable but necessary to live the authentic life you came here to live. The Peace of Heaven is found when we release the past, guilt, future and worries. It is found in perfect love, but lost in fear. It is in listening to the right voice in your head and releasing yourself of the judgement, fear and negativity of this world. Peace is here and it can be embraced by listening to your guide.

Guilt is used to control and to make others do what we want them to. Guilt is used to keep the past alive and well in the present moment. This episode looks on judgement and justice giving them forgiveness and love. Justice of God is not like our perception of justice. It is the opposite of it. Justice for God is what everyone gives they get. It is a sharing of equalness and oneness. Judgement is another acceptance that everyone is exactly how they should be. We judge for the purpose of separateness, not oneness. We have been programmed to think this way, so we have great difficulty understanding another perspective on it. This episode points out the distinct differences between an unholy relationship verses a holy relationship.ย The person in a unholy relationship is insecure, mistrusting, judgmental and attached. A person is a holy relationship is secure, joyful, trusting, non-judgmental and loving. The difference is in how you see other people. If you see them as bodies and attach yourself to those bodies then what they truly are is not seen.ย Our ego's are the main reason we see bodies. Once we can no longer use are ego's as a guide, then our perception of this world and everything in it changes/shifts.

"Original sin".ย That error was when Adam decided to leave the Garden of Eden and venture out on his own. He substituted reality for an illusion. We perpetuate that illusion every day. This chapter focusses on empathy, love and special relationships. We have been taught to show empathy for one another. The course states that empathy is an ego function that only teaches us that we wish to seek out the weaknesses in one another. That sharing in another person's pain and suffering is only perpetuating the illusion that pain and suffering is real. It also explains how we have created conditional love in place of the love that our Creator has given us. His love is perfect and unconditional. We did all of this through the creation of "special love relationships". These relationships are built on conditional love, hate and pain. These relationships are created in time with the condition of time at its core. Perfect Love was created by God in eternity, with no attachment to time or anyone or thing.ย

The Holy Instant is the means by which we can obtain peace and salvation. Imagine your mind free of thoughts. There is no reviewing the past and no predicting the future. It is a place where only the senses are active and fully aware of their surroundings. You are living in the moment and absorbing every interaction you encounter. It is like being placed in a bubble free of any influence outside of your immediate surroundings. Your senses are heightened and you are feeling nothing but peace, calm and joy.ย
If you have ever sat on a beach or anywhere in nature just looking, listening, smelling and touching everything around you. Your feeling calm and it almost feels surreal because it's like there is nothing else but that moment. You entered the Holy Instant and didn't know it. This chapter begins with the understanding of truth. What is true? It identifies that this world and its "reality" is not truth and definitely not reality. It is our ego creation and has no purpose but darkness, guilt, misery, anger and fear.ย It is through the acknowledgement and eventual acceptance of this that we will reach the Atonement and begin to fulfil the function we came here to do.

This episode focusses on guilt and its perceived power over us.ย If we want to find peace, we need to let go of the past and in doing so all the guilt that lives there. Guilt is an ego function and it is designed to hold us in the past. The shift from feeling guilty to guilt free is a simple shift of perception. It requires that we live in the moment - Now and let go of our need to review the past events and believe that those events have anything to do with the Now.
Heaven knows none of this and if we want to understand even a glimpse of it. We need to focus on what is happening right now, in this moment.

This episode explores the illusions of the ego and how those illusions keep our vision of this world delusional. We let our ego's dictate our beliefs and our perceptions of this world. The ego is invested in fear and guilt and does not want us seeing the reality of what we truly are. This episode will finish up Chapter 12 and we will begin Chapter 13. It is important that we look within to find what we are. The book continually states that we need to find "what we are". It never says find "who you are". The difference is "what" suggests something we are made up of and "who" looks for individuality and the ego. Those two words alone explain the difference. Chapter 12 ends with the understanding that Christ resides in all of us. We need but look within to find him. Chapter 13 starts the journey to understanding how the past has such a hold on us through guilt. The ego tells us to look back and carry around those feelings of guilt for unresolved issues and past hurts. To understand we have no guilt and are not vulnerable to this world is the next step on this journey of discovery.ย

This episode looks at what the role of the Holy Spirit is in our lives. It reveals how we interpret others and how those interpretations are skewed by fear and ego thinking. The way to undo all the barriers we have created is to remember God's role in our lives. To remember that God placed his altar in each of us as a reminder of who we truly are. We are invested in this world. We are attached to the people and things in this world. That investment and attachment are ego devices to lead us away from our Creator. Perfect love is what God gave us and yet we do not understand it or feel it. In place of it, we created a love that is unlike the one our father has given us. "Seek and you shall find", means that we need to discover who we truly are so we can embrace ourselves and our brothers for who they truly are - no judgements or conditions.

This episode of the book club will cover the end of Chapter 9 and the beginning of Chapter 10. In this episode we discover that without our brothers and sisters we are not truly whole. Our wholeness and peace can only be obtained through the acceptance of our oneness.ย We find ourselves evaluating people and ourselves with two thought systems. The first being our ego and the second with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Until we fully commit to one side or the other the messages will always be confusing. Who we are is part of God and until we see ourselves through this lens, then we will wander blindly throughout this world. Chapter 8 starts with a focus on peace and how it is attained. This episode covers the last two sections of Chapter 5 and we start the first 3 sections of Chapter 6.ย Today I share the concept of time vs. eternity and how we have a choice as to which we want to live by. The idea that we somehow have no choices or that we are persecuted for our choices is an ego thought system. We can choose fear or we can choose love. It is as simple as that. The Message of the Crucifixion is that we cannot be assailed or assaulted unless we believe we can. The body is vulnerable in this world, but it is only because it is of this world. We are spiritual beings, not bodies; therefore, incapable of assault or attack.ย

In this section of the book it covers the role of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Healer, Comforter and Guide. His role is to guide us through this world, so we can release our ego's and have the true vision of spirit. The Holy Spirit is always and will always be with us, but we need to invoke his guidance. This chapter is called Illusions of the Ego.ย This chapter starts off by reviewing what are perception of this world is. The difference between ego and spirit, and our preoccupations with things of this world. The books states that "God is not the author of fear". We are.
