Bruce reveals his tumultuous past in this latest episode of the pod. From being physically abused as a young boy to joining a gang to smoking his first weed and of coz his time in prison - Bruce shares incredible moments in his life which will be an eye opener to most people. The father of 3 also applied for a teaching job at NIE 5 times, finally making it to be a teacher. If u fail once, twice, thrice.... Keep on going!
And then disaster (a blessing in his words!), cancer struck! Arun speaks candidly about his ordeal and his fight to stay alive. He is in remission since 2016 - officially discharged.
Now retired from teaching, the Silverfox himself, is a finalist in the Manhunt International Category, the oldest contestant! He is gunning for victory. All these and more.

Louise Khng is the first and only female ever to win the Coach of the Year award at the Singapore Sports Awards since its inception in 1970.
Louise charts her journey starting out playing Floorball at 17, making the national team at 18 and then her coaching career which took her to the top of the coaching pyramid in Singapore.
Unassuming as ever, Louise also talks about her coaching philosophy and her "one team mentality". That played a huge role in the team spirit and camaraderie that her Floorball Women's team showed during their wonderful run of winning the inaugural Asia Oceania Floorball Confederation Cup, retaining the SEA Games gold and securing 12th place at the World Floorball Championships in 2019. That showing in Neuchatel, Switzerland being their best performance to date at the world stage.

If you are looking for a hero, you don’t need to go that far. Dylan Douglas Yeo was one of the divers in 2018 who rescued the last group of young footballers (The Wild Boars) and their assistant coach from their ordeal in the Tham Luang Cave in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand!

Listen as Douglas, takes us through his childhood days catching spiders, making money selling drinks and curry puffs, to running away from home due to a fractured relationship with his dad.

He also shares how he fell in love with diving and some interesting diving tips. I am delighted to showcase a graduate of the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Syafiq Lee, in Episode 23.

Paul Danial picked up a guitar at the age of 6. He has never looked back since! He has been the Axeman for a number of legendary acts in his journey. They include Ramli Sarip, Jatt Ali, Amy Search, Awie Wings and the list goes on.
Paul shares why music helped him survive back in the day when substance abuse, bad company etc could have led him to a different path. He believes in practice and it is safe to say that he clocked in more than the 10000 hours required in his formative years.
It is no surprise that he picked up the Yamaha Best Guitarist Award and the Magic Fingers Award from the Esplanade. Paul has also played in arenas in Japan and Mongolia and also in shows like the President's Star Charity.
Paul, who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music, reveals about the heart attack he suffered in 2013, on why being a "rubber band" is so important for any musician to stay ahead in the game and his plans for the future.

Mark Richmond is a familiar voice in the Singapore sports scene. His commentary work includes 6 Olympic games, 13 SEA Games, 4 Asian Games, 4 Swimming World Championships and commentary in the Malaysia Cup, K-League, J-League, Asian Champions League, La-Liga and Serie A.
Apart from commentary, he was also a Radio Deejay for Perfect 10 (98.7), Class 95 and Gold FM, picking up 2 Best Radio Deejay awards! Mark was also an actor, director and playwright He won Art Nation's Best Actor Award in his role in Bent.
Mark's work behind the scenes has been exemplary too. He has helped groom radio deejays, presenters, commentators. Evidence of his work - 2 TV personalities and at least 10 full time presenters/hosts. He was also the Creative Director for the 2015 SEA Games - winning approval and admiration for his work.
Currently the Team Lead for Team Singapore at SportSg, he is working closely with our Singapore Athletes. With the community work that he is driving and the helping hand that he is extending to Team Singapore, it is safe to say that the athletes are in good hands!

Nasen Thiagarajan is the Chief Executive Officer of Harry's International Pte Ltd. He speaks about how he got started in the F&B industry way back in 1991.
From cutting lemons as a "bar-back" and then a bartender at Fire Disco, he made his long and arduous journey in the industry, making his presence felt as far as Melbourne and Shanghai!
Many will remember Cafe Del Mar in Sentosa, Mimolette Restaurant cum Bar within the Turf Club and Marmalade Pantry - all of which has Nasen's imprint on it.

Fighting out of Juggernaut Fight Club - Shahidah The Sniper! Episode 15 features the Ex-ITE, College East student who later went on to become a lecturer at the same campus!
Now a professional boxer, Shahidah shares her story of how she went from being a nerd to fighting for Singapore at the South East Asian Games. This led her to the path of professional boxing.
She was voted the WBC Asian Female Boxer of the Year in 2018 and was also Women's Weekly Great Woman of Our Time Winner in 2019. Her story of being top student at ITE, graduating from Republic Polytechnic and earning her degree from UWA in Exercise and Health Science is one of hope and accomplishment.
Add all that into the mix, we get a lethal combo of brains and power! Its knockout time!

May Ooi is a true blue Singapore sporting legend. A child prodigy who started competing in swim meets from the age of 9, she broke her first national record at at the age of 12! May was an Olympian at age 16, competing in 7 events at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. She also amassed a total of 10 individual medals, including 2 Golds, over 5 South East Asian Games.
A trained medical doctor, May started her love affair with the Afro-Brazilian martial arts, Capoeira, while on vacation in Brazil. Her chat with the Legend Royler Gracie led her on the journey to becoming a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter. Her Pro MMA record stands at 4-2-0 after retiring in 2019, having won her last 2 fights in the One Championship!
All that as May also battled depression when she lost her fiancé, Silvio Romero da Silva, to a bike accident in late 2016.
May presently is focused on her Capoeira School at the Brazilian Cultural and Sports Center which she owns and also on her public speaking gigs, sharing her wealth of experience and pearls of wisdom with the community. As the Vice-Chairwoman of the Women and Sports Committee, she is also paying it forward helping out female athletes in their career.

A thespian is in the Silverfox Hustle Podcast for the first time. Sivakumar Palakrishnan, is an actor, producer and director. He is one of only a few who has made the transition from the Tamil medium on Vasantham to the English medium.
Siva's roles on Vasantham like Rehai and Guru Parvai made him a household name. His effortless transition to the English medium led him to feature as the late Subhas Anandan in The Best I Could and of course in Tanglin Season 3 amongst others. He was also the producer of Singapore's favourite comedy series, The Noose!
Siva's accomplishments doesn't stop there. He acted in the lead role in A Yellow Bird, a movie which is also out on Netflix. The movie was selected for the Cannes Film Festival! Not bad for a misfit who hated school and was always in the limelight for the wrong reasons!
