Sharing thoughts on Juneteenth and 1 of the various acts of racism I encountered as a black man. Racism is here and we need to speak up against it. Don’t stay silent because that’s a huge part of the problem. Try to talk and listen to your black coworkers, neighbors, friends. Listen to their stories. More importantly use your white privilege to help bring about change within businesses and government.
We've been out marching at various protests and it's been amazing. Yes, our body and feet are hurting, but it's all worth it. We have to continue to help make a difference and demand change. The previous activists fought for us and we owe it to continue that fight for them and for our future generation.
We don't want any more Breonna Taylors, or George Floyds. The Black Community is hurting and we just want the racism to stop. If you can, get out and march (practice social distance and wear a mask). The diversity and unity in these Marches are awesome to see.
Tensions are high across the country. The violent protests aren’t the answer. But we want change. I’m proposing a different route. We need to win at the polls and I need Minority Voters to realize that. I’ve written 4 Elected officials for far within my state. More to come on accessing the letter for you to use....

Today, I talk about the covid19 pandemic and how it seems like we are going in the wrong direction. We've made some progress over the last few months. Let's not throw it away.
We need to continue practicing social distancing and wearing masks. Not only our lives, but the lives of others depend on it. Humanity depends on it.
Stay safe, be smart, protect yourself and others.
Peace.
