In this episode, The Zocialists hold an Open Forum after a protest. The Zocialists get to sit down with a multitude of guest speakers from all different backgrounds to discuss a wide variety of topics ranging from racism to the worldwide rise of fascism.
Hosts Brandon and Isaac dive into activism with founder of KidzFedUp, Claire Tandoh. Claire is a senior at Providence High School that wants to explore what activism means for young people and spread awareness on social and political issues. The three get into topics such as the effectiveness/counter-productiveness of performative activism, the anti-blackness in all POC communities, and the task Gen Z has to change the world through activism when older generations fail them.
In this raw and unedited episode, Brandon and Isaac break their silence on racial injustice in America. Being a bystander and simply staying "silent and informed" is no longer tolerable. Silence is betrayal.
