I began to flesh it out, add layers, develop the song into something. It gained a ferocity, less a song to release and more a battle cry, a signal to the world that I still draw breath, I still share my work with the world, I'm still HERE. For this song, I decided to go all outâ I reached out to the amazing Ambasa for breathtaking artwork, AryaFord for gorgeous animation, and OrihimeVT for absolutely iconic logo design. I want this song to leave a permanent mark on the Eurobeat world and the others I inhabit, so I sought the best.As for the video... in so many cases, I've turned to the unparalleled Jusagi and fantastic Emi for animation and editing respectively. But for this song, I wanted to test myself, see what I could create with my own vision and direction for the song. So, I decided to edit this video myself. I hope it may elevate your expectations of what an Odyssey Eurobeat music video can be.I must also noteâ while it was unintentional, I recognize that the bridge of this song is very similar to the bridge in DPR Ian's "Peanut Butter & Tears". This was not my plan, though the nature of that song doubtless influenced this production in ways beyond the obvious. I'm still really happy with the riff to this very day.Originally the third verse was going to be replaced with a dubstep drop, but I instead opted for a reprised bridge, synth solo over the chorus, then back into the chorus one last time. I think it's for the best. I did end up keeping the vocoder sounds from that, though!
