Bryan Fischer with today’s Life and Liberty Minute. Patriotism, they say, is the last refuge of a scoundrel. Well, there are a lot of scoundrels in House of Representatives. They pretended impeachment is about preserving democracy, but it’s not. That’s why the basis for impeachment keeps shifting. First, it was “thing of value,” then it was “quid pro quo,” and now - after doing focus groups on which accusation sounds the worst, it’s “bribery.” This has always been an impeachment in search of a crime. The truth is the president’s opponents hate him. They hate it that he fights back unlike every Republican president before him. They hate it that he protects religious liberty, babies in the womb, and our southern border. They hate him because they don’t like his personality. In other words, this is not an impeachment, it’s a hate crime directed against the president of the United States.
