Jason gives one of his foundational messages on living in an awareness of our Father's measureless love. This message highlights one of the greatest shifts in Jason's life and faith when He repented from the dysfunction of living desperate for His Father's affection, love, blessing, promises, and so on.
Jason speaks from his backyard to Destiny Christian Fellowship in Madison WI during the self-quarantining days of April 2020. As the Corona Virus is sweeping across the land, this is a time for believers to live confident in love as giants in the faith. Jason invites us to repent and think as God thinks.
Repenting isn’t a heavy burden, a 24-hour wailing session focused on our brokenness, and poverty, and need, and sin. Repenting is a 2 min, 4 min, 24 min, 24 hours, 240 days and on and on revelation and agreement of our Father’s perspective in which we lay our burdens down, we exchange brokenness for righteousness, poverty for hope, peace, and joy; and sin for wholeness.
Repenting is the gift Jesus gave us to live confident as sons and daughters in His love on earth as it is in heaven.
This message is an invitation to grow sure in His affection and live confident in His love today!

Jason speaks on the offensively good news. The Love of God. "I pray that you would be one." This is the Lords Prayer, the one Jesus prayed over us. His desire is that we would know the same intimacy He knew with our Father and Holy Spirit.
This message was given at The Reformers Gathering in 2019 at The Gate Church in Charlotte NC. This message is an invitation into the reformation Jesus started 2000 years ago, it is an invitation into oneness with Christ.
This is the very first word Jason gave at Newsong Church (at the time Ardent Faith). Jason shared his life’s message of growing sure in our Father's love.
Our Heavenly Father is always good and doesn’t desire desperate kids. Any relationship where kids are desperate for their Father is dysfunctional. Jesus revealed what it looks like to live sure as a loved son of our Father and gave us access to this same sureness.
“When we walk in a revelation of our Father's love, even the hard stuff is easy.” Love is measureless and it trumps every need.

Jason shares stories from his life on walking in friendship with God our Father.
"I no longer call you servant, I call you friend." This is the invitation Jesus gave us. There is no servant master language in heaven. Obedience is the invitation to discover his Gid's heart until ours beats in rhythm with His.
Jason, through the story of Abraham offering Issac as a sacrifice, highlights how God transforms out thinking through testing that we might truly see Him for who He. Thereby having access to intimacy in ways we could have never experienced before.

“Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!”

“In Oct I visited with my good friend Scott Crowder and DreamHouse Church in Newport News VA. This church family has become a home away from home and this was my 7th visit in nine years.
On this Sunday Scott asked if I would speak on the particular scripture from that week’s Lectionary, the 2019 liturgical calendar which DreamHouse has been following this year.
I was honored to dive into the family story of DreamHouse for this year. Luke 17:11-19 was read before I got up to speak.

Becoming Sure: The nature of our Father is our inheritance.

Jason kicks off a Newsong Church message series based on Mark Batterson’s book, Whisper. Jason teaches on the importance of our methodology of interpretation (our hermeneutic). Jason highlights how Jesus always heard God through the lens of family and while He lived as an obedient servant, it was always in the context of son-ship. I no longer call you servant, I call you friend. Friendship with God is the whole point of hearing Him. In each test that God gives is available to us breakthrough for our thinking, for our future experiences and for the generations that follow us. This breakthrough is available to the extent that we, like Abraham with Issac, go into the test contending for resurrection life, contending for the goodness of God, the sovereignty of love.

This message was given to Newsong Church in 2016. Jason talks about how Proverbs 13:2 “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life” is not meant to be a commentary on life. We can actually choose by faith to live in “longing fulfilled” regardless of our circumstances. We are instructed to live abounding in hope.

A servant can’t know the heart motivations of God but a friend knows intimately who the Father is and how He thinks. We have been invited into friendship and only through friendship can we establish His Kingdom on earth as it is in Heaven.

“I am weak and He is strong” that is a line to a famous children’s song. It’s a beautiful song and a true story, but not the whole story. Jesus revealed and purchased for us the whole story, grace. And Paul taught us that grace was “sufficient,” “more than enough” to empower us in the areas of our weakness. “That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10
Jason teaches that grace empowers us in weakness to be strong. Jason also teaches that our intimacy with God is how we fight our battles.
