Coffee & Comfort podcast is aimed at providing comfort and support the way God comforts us in times of trouble, loss of faith, pain, sickness and the many adversities we face each and everyday! This podcast is for you if you need comfort, inspiration, in need of hearing the word and voice of God, someone to talk to or just to hear a friendly voice on the other side cheering you on and letting you know that you are not alone. Its important that we help each other, be there for each other and most importantly love each other in this life, that is what Jesus wants us to do!
We have all know the verse- it is more blessed to give than to receive but how does that look like in everyday living?
When we give to others of our money, time, resources, advice, wisdom, teachings, we honor God, we are building the Kingdom of God.
Paul speaks about this in 2 Corinthians chap 8 and 9. Let's chat about the Ministry of giving in this episode

Friend.. We need to give God time to work because He knows how your life is supposed to go and when things need to happen.
We rush to get to the end of a season, or breakthrough or miracle or that blessing/s that we don't stop to seek God in each day and ask Him- what are we doing today? What plans do you have? What do you need me to do?
We should wait upon the Lord, knowing that He is going to do it and do it perfectly and exactly what we need and when we need it. We are already blessed, in the season that we are in and just our life in general.
Have a listen and I pray that it blesses you, shifts your perspective and moves you closer to God and what He is doing in your life.

Obedience is a tough one. Tough to put into practice every time. Our feelings often get in the way, so does our fears, doubts, pride and the I-want-to-control-the-outcome mentality.
God just wants your obedience and Trust. Doing as God says- all you need to trust is His promise which that all will go well with you.
Obedience is moving forward in your life- you might not see the immediate movement but you have moved in the right direction. This episode we chat a bit about Jeremiah and how he was obedient, a good and faithful servant of the Lord. Hopefully we can think of him when we don't "feel like" doing what God has told us to do because of how it may look like.

If truth be told, we don't see ourselves the way God sees us, they way He each one of us- special, loved, cared for, seen, gifted, powerful. We live our lives according to what the world says, the catorgories and boxes we have been put in throughout our lives. We then miss what God has for us, what He has called us to do and how we should live our lives.In this episode we chat briefly about how important it is to ask God to help you see yourself the way He sees you, what are His plans, what does He want you to do in this life and for the Kingdom. In the Bible we read about Abraham having Faith. But something else that he had which fueled him was HOPE. Hope in God's words and instructions and believing that all would come to pass. Abraham and many others in the bible- Jeremiah, Moses, Sarah, Joshua- they had HOPE which carried them through even though their circumstances were the exact opposite.
In this episode we speak about having Hope in our daily lives and that we should not leave it behind. Hope in God will not disappoint, God is always doing something and we are always better for waiting and hoping in Him.

How are we waiting for God to move or answer our prayers? Are we sitting, pouting, with our arms crossed, tapping our feet and just waiting impatiently? What are we waiting for?
Are we focused on the prayers and what we can get or are we focused on God? How we wait matters, seeking God while waiting matters, living and working while we wait on God matters.

God has created everything that we have, have had and will have and one of the most precious and beautiful gifts he has given us is friendships. The bible says in Proverbs 29:25 Fearing people is a dangerous trap but trusting in the Lord means safety.
In this episode we look at a practical example of how dangerous it is for us, our mind and our lives when we fear people. Fearing people causes chaos, it sets us back and sometimes even keeps us in the same place instead of where God is taking us. It is one of the enemy's top tactics to keep you away from Trusting God, His guidance and protection. When we fear people, we end up questioning God and it should be that we Trust God and question people's motives and words when it comes to our lives.

Psalm 23- a Psalm that we know and love and has been quoted so many times because of how truly comforting it is. In this episode we talk about each verse and how God meets our needs on a daily.
This is a perfect Psalm to recite to yourself everyday as you go through life, a reminder of who God is, what He does for us and how He loves us so dearly that whatever we need, it's already handled! "I got you" God says. "Don't worry about it, sweetheart"
If I could sum up this Psalm, it would be GOD. IS. GOOD.

Today's episode we chat about HELP and where ours has been coming from and where it SHOULD come from. God is our constant help, he delights in every detail of lives, he is always ready to help in times of trouble but also in times of every day "where are my keys" life. He loves us so much and helping us is what He loves doing and it is one of our greatest blessings from Him! He even gave us His Holy spirit to be our help and guide. How kind?? Nobody likes to wait- Waiting is the absolute ghetto, it’s slow, painful, frustrating, confusing and uncontrollable. You can really end up questioning a lot when you are waiting. However, Proverbs 3- 5-6 reminds us to Trust the Lord with all your heart and mind and lean NOT on your own understanding. When God makes us wait, it’s for a reason, a purpose and a plan! It’s for our own good, our growth. The beauty of waiting on God is that you know He will come through, He is faithful and you will be made new! Like Psalm 27:14 says "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.

Friend, hello hi! In this episode, I would like to encourage you to have "Faith, even though." Even though it's hard, impossible, you don't have enough time, resources, help, people don't believe in you, things seem impossible. God can so much with your mustard seed when you say Yes to him, when you are willing, when you Trust and Obey. Things always look dicey, unclear and very very hard in the beginning but that is when you take your eyes off of your circumstances and right onto God and keep them there. God builds you up in those moments. It is a powerful thing to say "Even though I don't know but you know, I will Trust you God"
I hope that after this episode you will feel comforted about your situation and maybe a bit inspired by testimonies of Faith, even though" You are never and will never be alone.

Happy 2023. Happy New Year. God wants to do so much in our lives but sometimes our mindset and beliefs block us from aligning, trusting and walking with Him. I want to encourage you and I to make DAILY decisions to look to God, walk with God, stay with God, read His word and pray continuously. When we do that, we will see our minds transform, our lives change, we make better decisions and we see and love ourselves the way He sees and loves us. We will begin to cultivate good thoughts, our faith and belief will grow which will help us to stand firm on God's promises and remember His faithfulness. Once we believe, we will see! Amen? Amen!

Prospering or prosperity is something that we want- we want to prosper in our personal lives, career, in relationships but what does prospering mean to you and what does it entail? Do you understand what God means when He says His plans will prosper you? What comes to mind? I have been thinking about this for some time and each time something different comes up.

On this episode we are talking about comparison and feeling less than! Let me tell you, God didn’t waste his time making you only to be the same as everyone else, so why do we waste time comparing ourselves? Why do we let people get in our heads so much? Comparisonville is a dead place to be in and nothing grows there, nothing great happens there. Tune into this episode to get some comfort and reminder that you matter and we need you in this world!

"Jesus didn't live for God's approval, He lived From God's approval." Episode 10 is here and we are talking about all things Jesus and how we walked this earth like a real G! The world is heavy, it's a lot and it's pretty much the ghetto every single day. However, we have the perfect example in Jesus and how we can walk this earth knowing who we are and whose we are.

How we fear doing the Lord’s work because people are looking, people are judging, I am too different, let me just go back to what I know. In this episode we are going to talk about how faith brings about Joy. It’s always easy with the world being the way that it is, but it is so possible to let the spirit guide you and let God bless you and cover you and protect you when you have faith- even as small as a mustard seed cause we know how big that can get! Having faith seems silly at first but so worth it in the end.

Our comfort today comes from the story of Moses and how he wasn’t always “Red-Sea” parting confident but walking with God changed him in many ways. One of the best gifts and blessings we have all received as a collective is, Prayer. Prayer is such a powerful weapon and tool that we can use whenever and wherever (literally). Prayer changes things- within yourself, your career, family, relationships- whatever it may be, it will change if you give it enough time and have faith. God doesn't fail, you will get exactly what you need. All you need to do is open your mouth and speak what is in your heart.
I hope this episode encourages you to have your own relationship with your maker, your creator, the Alpha and Omega, Our God and cultivate a fruitful prayer life!

Sometimes it may feel like you have gone the “wrong way” or taken the “long way” and it all feels like a waste of time and you are not where you thought you would be! That’s a lie, God has you where you are supposed to and meant to be for the work he is doing within you, you just need to shift your perspective a little. Believe in God’s timing for your life, let him lead and you will receive God’s best!

Fear is NOT of the Lord. God gave us peace, love, sound mind. Confusion, fear, doubt, negative self-talk was not created by God and we need to remember that everyday in everything that we do, say and think! God is good and perfect, everything he does is Good, let's remember that the next time fear has us by the throat!

It's time we see ourselves the way God sees us, the way he created us to be. We need to start filling our minds and hearts with the Word of God and not the opinions of others, let us work towards doing away with thinking and talking about ourselves as less than.

God created us, he knows what is best for us. His promises are real, concrete and he stands by them everyday. single. day . Our plans fail a lot of the time or they don't bring us any joy because we do not seek the counsel of He who makes our paths straight. He who said "I have plans to prosper you, give a hope and a future!" A promise that you can count on, why? Because God is not a man that he should lie! His plans are perfect!

This first episode is your (and my) reminder that You are a Masterpiece, God's most beautiful and wonderful Masterpiece. Don't let people tell you who you are, who you should be, what you should be doing! It is essential to ask God to reveal to you who he created you to be originally for His Glory and purpose, before the world created this "remix" that you think you are. Everything that we have and all that we are, we have receive from God and we need to live and act like the sons and daughters of the most high King!
