Summer-ized Sessions
Summer-ized Sessions is a renowned event brand in London, which has been running hedonistic house music events for six consecutive years. From humble beginnings as a mix-CD, through weekly radio, to its current incarnation as one of the freshest, most decadent club nights in town, this is a brand that attracts some of the biggest names in Underground House, Tech-house, and Techno. Coming off the back of their first tour in 2019 - landing at premier spots across the UK such as Mint Warehouse (Leeds), Liquid Rooms (Edinburgh), Gorilla (Manchester), and The Arch (Brighton) - the demand for these parties has meant that 2020 sees a return to these venues and many more! While Secret Garden Rave continues to soar, getting bigger and bigger each time, the Afterdark and Summer-ized day-party events are a more intimate affair, with headline acts such as 303Lovers and Toolroom’s Maxinne, to name but two! Always a hub for partygoers from all tribes of life, with their needle-point attention to detail, it’s the close-knit crack-team behind the scenes that ensure each event delivers quality over quantity time and time again, securing Summer-ized Sessions’ place amongst some of the best nights in the world!

With title track 'A Face From Another Planet' providing exactly that, with a tough beat and bassline that rolls on under a spaced-out vocal whose aesthetics reference mainstream Electronica. Going deeper [and dubbier] is follow-up Elysium, bringing a bold bassline to a more minimal vocal element, while still offering a driving energy that works both indoors and out.

Blvckr is a talented DJ / producer, with a passion for funky, driving house grooves. He is already making a name for himself producing huge vocal house tracks, while being inspired & experimenting with tech house, soul and electro sounds.

His dedication and love for music are evident in his hard work in the studio, with recent house music productions released on Love&Other (Toolroom), Hotfingers, Zulu Records, Whore House, Tactical Records, Black Lizard Records, InStereo Recordings and DTLA.
His tracks have been riding high in the Beatport charts; "Gonna Feel Alright" hit top 20, while "Rockin' The House" and "I'm Okay" top 30 & 40 respectively. His 2020 single "Still Loco" gained an immense amount of critical acclaim, reaching the #2 spot on Traxsource tech house chart and staying in the top 3 for 3 weeks.
Blvckr has his own weekly radio show called "PURE BLVCK", which is broadcast the first Thursday of every month by the prestigious Data Transmission Radio channel. 2020 looks set to be the year Blvckr cements himself as a name to watch in the global house music scene.

Over the last 12 months UK Duo Tuff London have exploded onto the House & Techno scene with a string of chart topping releases that have seen support for their music right across the board from artists as diverse as Techno luminary Carl Cox to BBC Radio One’s Danny Howard.
Combining a wealth of musical knowledge and experience, Ben K and Sam T started the Tuff London project with a view to creating music with character and energy aimed solely at the dance-floor.
Heavily inspired by the underground sounds of house & techno from the 90’s through to the current day, Tuff London’s breakthrough single “Sending Love” was released on Toolroom Trax in 2016 and saw support from pretty much every single house & techno DJ right across the summer becoming a bonafide Ibiza anthem.
With a follow up single “Frontline” released on Toolroom featuring the legendary vocals of Steve Edwards (Cassius – Sound Of Violence / Axwell – Watch The Sunrise / Bob Sinclair – World Hold On), the boys saw their profile rocket with the single becoming one of 2016’s biggest selling Tech House releases.

Artists championing his music include Danny Howard, Claude VonStroke, Roger Sanchez, Golf Clap, Mark Knight, TCTS, Erick Morillo, Maximono, Kolombo, Will Clarke, Illyus & Barrientos, Billy Kenny and Davide Squillace.
Behind the decks, Karuva has enjoyed rocking UK clubs including Steel Yard, Tobacco Dock, Lightbox, 93 Feet East and Magic Roundabout, Chinese venues including Galaxy and Ibiza venues including Bora Bora and Savannah (along with warm up sets for Yousef and Amine Edge).

Mr.C started MCing in London clubs aged 16 working with LWR radio's Ron Tom, Jasper the Vinyl Junkie & Jazzy M. Mr.C then hooked up with Colin Faver & Evil Eddie Richards to became resident rapper at the legendary Camden Palace in London. Mr.C went into the studio to record his 1st house track with Eddie Richards as Myster-E which was released in August 1987. This inspired Mr.C to become a DJ so in September 87 he took to the decks. Mr.C has since organised, promoted & been resident DJ at: Fantasy ('88), Base (Dungeons '89), Release (91), Harmony (92), Drop (93), Cyclone (94), Vapourspace (94 & 95), Flavour (The End 95 & 96), Subterrain (The End 95 - 2002), Superfreq (Worldwide 2002 - Present), Super Disco Freq (LA 2010 - present), Next Step Forward Festival (Sept 2018). Mr.C was resident DJ every weekend (Friday & Saturday nights) at the legendary RIP parties at Clink Street in London throughout 1988. Mr.C hosted weekly radio show Future Music on Kiss 100FM in London from 1993-2002 & has presented TV shows for MTV, FH1, VIVA & BBC. To say that Mr.C is one of the most iconic DJs in the world would be an understatement. In December 1995 Mr.C opened the legendary nightclub The End in London & then AKA bar 3 years later & was lauded as one of the best night clubs in the world. The End & AKA closed its doors for good on January 24th 2009. 1 Chapter closes & another begins. Since the closure of The End Mr.C has been running his Superfreq events globally & is just about to host his brand new London festival, Next Step Forward Festival. Mr.C runs & promotes Superfreq events, which celebrated being 16 years old in March 2018 & ran monthly at Mr.C's club The End until it closed down in January 2009. Superfreq functions bi-monthly in London & does regular events in Los Angeles as well as bi-monthly events in Calais France & one off events the world over. Mr.C is founder & owner of Plink Plonk records, co-founder of End Recordings & founder & co-owner of the Superfreq label, which is now releasing music prolifically. Mr.C has recorded under the names, Myster-E, Unity 2, Nu Jacks, Bass Bureau, The Shamen, Mantrac, Somnambulist, Animus Amour, Killer Loop, Mr.C & Tom Parris, Mr.C & 16B, Sycophant Slags, Indigo Kidz & East LA Tek. Mr.C is best known as front man, songwriter & producer of the pop group The Shamen with whom he notched up a string of top 10 hits including Move Any Mountain, Love Sex Intelligence, Boss Drum, Phorever People & the UK number 1 smash hit Ebeneezer Goode. These hits were hits the world over. The Shamen album Boss Drum went double platinum in the UK & they also won a highly coveted Ivor Novelo for Songwriters of the year UK in 1993. Richard's currently recording solo as Mr.C & is also doing collaborations as the Indigo Kidz with Affie Yusuf & with Noel Jackson as East LA Tek. His latest album was released last year called Incidents, which is arguably his best work to date along with singles Stand Up, Shape Your Dreams & Ripple Effect all being taken from the album.

Maxinne’s profile has become more in demand and is seeing her regularly feature on various line-ups in Ibiza, Italy and the UK, including the Labyrinth and Resistance official pre-parties at Tantra Ibiza, Café Mambo, Sankeys and DJ Mag, as well as securing a residency with Toolroom at Eden Ibiza this season.

London-based Shane Fernandes has been making waves globally for 16 years. As well as playing in idyllic settings such as Dubai and his native Goa, his early career saw him in London, France, Croatia, Romania and, of course, Ibiza.
Throwing down some of the finest house and techno at venues such as The Steelyard, O2 Academy, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Cargo, Egg, 93 Feet East, Crucifix Lane, Fire / Lightbox - and sharing the booth with key Artists such as OC & Verde, Sonny Fodera, GW Harrison, Mihalis Safras and even the legendary Mark Knight - Shane has long since been smashing peak time sets, delivering cutting edge electronic music, and performing at heralded festivals such as WE ARE FSTVL (UK) and Snowboxx (France), whilst also DJ’ing around Europe at Club Kalypso (Croatia), Oneiro (Romania), as well as Ibiza's famous Café Mambo, Dunes and Itaca Beach Club.
In 2013, Shane launched his very own brand `Summer-ized Sessions’, hosting hugely successful nights in London, Europe and beyond. He is also actively involved with London Fashion Week, working with designers and fashion houses for catwalk shows and their after parties.
While Shane's 2017 debut EP came with support from Loco Dice, Jimmy Switch, Sam Divine, Vanilla Ace, Andi Durrant, and more, 2019 is already shaping up to be another incredible year, with his Secret Garden Rave proving to hit new heights on its first ever tour!

Italian born producer/dj, Manuel De Le Mare has spent the past years delivering money-shot releases and remixes, whilst marrying a lifetime of passion and dedication to his love of DJing. This ability within his musical sphere has pricked the interest of global artists like Adam Beyer, Jamie Jones, Fatboy Slim, Mark Knight, Calvin Harris, Solardo, Green Velvet. Whilst leading Beatport to bestow him the award of ‘Best Remixer of the Year’, a suitable follow up on his nomination for ‘Best Deep House and Techno Artist’.
With his music growing in stature on ever release, the demand with his bookings has not been far behind. Already a familiar face at global venues like Ministry of Sound in London, Womb in Tokyo, Space Ibiza, Amnesia Miami and Ultra Music Festival, Tomorrowland and Global Gathering. Manuel has managed to procure a global fan base that has enabled him to perform his music throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa, as well as North and South America.
His sound stretches somewhere between house and techno, whilst respectfully treading the line between commercial and credible underground. The strength of his own recording label, which he runs with Luigi Rocca, is a testament to his intelligent foresight within his music. In the past ten years, 303lovers has find itself being earmarked by major players like Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, and Pete Tong among the others as a solid source of good quality electronic music.

A&R man at the world famous Glasgow Underground label, Sam Dexter has recently launched his own career as a producer of disco driven house music. His first release on his own imprint Hungarian HotWax flew straight to number 2 on the Traxsource Nu Disco chart and since then he has gone from strength to strength.
His first EP on Glasgow Underground "Get Down Boy" garnered heavy support from some of the heavyweight DJs of the world, with Steve Lawler supporting the title track at events including the mighty Elrow London and Ushuaia Ibiza. Hot on the heels of that success, he followed up with his latest release "Share A Little Ecstasy" which has set the BBC Radio airwaves ablaze, with heavy support from Annie Mac, Pete Tong & DJ Monki.
With more releases lined up this year with Glasgow Underground, expect to be hearing a lot more from him in the near future.

IN THE MIX - Ant LaRock
Ant LaRock's first single was picked up by Todd Terry's InHouse Records, propelling him amongst House royalty.
After several releases, 2015 brought major label remixes for the likes of Giorgio Moroder's pairing with Kyle Minogue on "Right Here Right Now" and future pop icon Petite Meller's "Babylove". Ant's contributions helped both singles land heavily on Billboard Dance charts as well as on dance floors. Later that year Ant produced a dirty floor-stomper for Charlotte Devaney's collaboration with Snoop Dogg on Vigin/EMI.
An April 2015 collaboration with his mentor, Todd "the God" himself, welcomed the Ministry of Sound release of "Back Around" followed by the subsequent remix EP on Inhouse.
2016 went off with a bang for Ant with fresh EP's on the venerable Nervous Records. Kenny Dope then spotted Ants talents while Ant was DJing in Ibiza and took him under his wing, which resulted in releases on Dopewax & Strictly Rhythm, plus Ant DJing alongside Kenny. Adding to his high level producer connections, Ant then featured on Armand Van Helden's album Extra Dimensional with their collaboration Sacred Geometry.
2017 has seen releases on Brobot, inHouse, Dopewax, plus a string of DJ gigs globally from NYC, London, Ibiza and more.

Sneaking into Digital on the Brighton coastline every weekend was That Songbird’s unruly access to Clubland – via the dance floor.
Hailing from humble beginnings in Brighton, Tess has been an avid clubber since day one and in 2016, made the move to get involved in the music industry in a way only she knew best — story telling on her blog aimed at dance music lovers. She practices this same ethos behind the decks, taking the dance floor on a journey through all shades of House music old and new, whilst exploring introspective and emotive sounds too.
A true ambassador of connecting with the audience and testament to her character, it’s impossible to dislike her infectious energy on the decks and in person. Fast forward to 2017 and her entry to dance music has taken flight an alarming speed. International powerhouse ABODE took Tess under their wing; throwing her into the deep-end headlining to 2000 people at their spiritual home of Studio 338 in London, to great reception. If that wasn’t a pinch yourself moment, getting booked by one of the largest indies in the world to play another massive London show in Toolroom Live; is enough to affirm — this young girls dream is rapidly coming true.
With absolutely no intention of slowing down, Tess is already looking to 2018 and working on original productions as we speak. Watch this space; as this songbird continues to look up to the sky and into the future.

Born & Raised in London UK, James has been involved in dance music for 13 years. Now DJ’ing and producing under the guise of Made By Pete, , his most recent work has been snapped up by taste-making labels like Crosstown Rebels, Gruuv, DFTD and Kerri Chandler’s MadTech Records.
His 2018 ‘So Long EP’ featuring Jem Cooke topped the Beatport Deep House chart and featured remixes from Solomon & Audiojack. The EP also received three plays from Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1. His music is regularly supported by key players like Damian Lazarus, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, Groove Armada, Matthias Tanzmann and Joris Voorn to name a few.

Think back to 1993. Baggy pants, curtain hair, grunge rock and Bill Clinton. But also the year the iconic 100% Dance Hits compilation album flew into UK stores on a whirlwind of loud, head turning t.v. ads. Hits by Robin S, 2 Unlimited, Snap & Haddaway and their blindingly colourful videos had sugar rushing kids like Kisch saving up their curly wurly money to buy a copy to make sure they weren’t the last people to work out the lyrics to “No Limit”. This was the moment that Kisch’s love affair with electronic music began.
As the years rolled by, Kisch’s tastes graduated to the Van Helden, Kinchen and Masters At Work classics that kept 90s dance floors nice and sweaty, and his obsession with a good catchy vocal would soon become the vehicle driving his own creativity. As an early career tickle, his first releases caught the attention of the creators of one of dance music’s seminal records, The Shapeshifters, and a collaboration soon followed which garnered support from Pete Tong on his radio shows in the UK and stateside.
Since then it’s all gone anything but Pete Tong, with records such as Love All Day and Say You’re Mine helping to rack up over five million streams, igniting Danny Howard’s ear drums to a significant enough heat to be made his “Friday Fire”, and twice claiming second spot on Traxsource’s overall chart. His tunes also have a habit of sneaking onto compilations by the likes of Toolroom and Cafe Mambo, with further support coming in from DJ S.K.T, Sam Divine, Sonny Fodera, Mat.Joe and even crossing over to stadium fillers like Afrojack and Oliver Heldens.
Kisch has also had the pleasure of travelling the world, playing at monster nightclubs such as Ministry of Sound, Es Paradis Ibiza, Ocean Beach Club, Egg London, Pacha Munich, Cafe Mambo Ibiza and in countries as far reaching as South Korea, Thailand and Azerbaijan. His ability to blend vocal house anthems with rhythmical groovers has kept club goers fist pumping with the energy of Mike Tyson, and with some of his strongest records in the works, expect to see his name on a nightclub poster near you soon.

Pumping, provocative and eclectic – the crafted sound of DeMarzo. DeMarzo’s greed for music was hereditary. His father’s life long affair with Funk and Motown became genetic. At the age of 8, DeMarzo was enrolled into the Yamaha Keyboard School where he got his first taste of creativity. Years of writing and performing live became natural and nights spent watching Jazz improv’s became highly influential. Whilst studying music technology at college he began producing his own material. This was an amalgamation encompassing all his influences became evident in his work. As a multi-instrumentalist, his obligation to inject ‘groove’ into both his productions and sets is arousing more and more interest. DeMarzo’s sound is a meticulously crafted one. His toxic perfectionism and shrewd sense of rhythm lead him naturally to where he is today. His well revised sets include anything from underground house to main room tech and electronica.

British DJ, vocalist & composer Maxine Hardcastle has boldly crafted her way through the music industry over the past decade. In 2015 she held a residency at the world renowned Pacha Ibiza (voted 4th best club in the world) and was personal DJ to Martin Solveig, playing alongside many international guest DJs such as Mark Ronson. She signed to the Pacha Ibiza DJ Agency and travelled the globe headlining the Pacha World tour in South Africa, Bahrain, Doha, Malta, Barcelona and many more.
In 2016, Maxine won a DJ competition & resident at Sankeys Ibiza; a club renowned for its authentic underground music and was voted 16th best club in the world. She played alongside leading talent including: Steve Lawler, Kolsch, Kink & Todd Terry and remains resident there today.
In 2017 Maxine joined forces with Sarah Main (12 year Ibiza Pacha resident DJ), inspired by their love of Disco which led to a residency at Ibizas’ most exclusive venue, ‘Heart’. The duo have since played alongside international guest DJ’s Late Nite Tuff Guy, Sandy Rivera, Studio 54’s Jellybean Benitez & many more.
From a very young age Maxine was influenced by her father, Paul Hardcastle, an iconic 80’s pop star & music producer. A collaboration between the two hit no.1 on the American billboard charts, and Maxine went on to produce and sing on releases with labels including Universal, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Hed Kandi, Deeperfect, Nurvous, King street records, regularly hitting top spots across the Beatport charts.

London based Shane Fernandes has been creating waves for 14 years around the globe - including gigging in his hometown (Goa), to other worldwide destinations including Dubai, London, France, Croatia, Romania and Ibiza. Driving house music at its finest, Shane has been smashing peak time sets in the English capital, at venues such as the 02 Academy, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Cargo, 93 Feet East, Crucifix Lane, Fire and Lightbox - sharing the console with key artists such as OC & Verde, Sonny Fodera, DeMarzo, Mihalis Safras and the legendary Mark Knight.
Shane’s passion and drive, for delivering cutting edge electronic music, has seen him perform at heralded festivals such as WE ARE FSTVL (UK) and Snowboxx (France), while also DJ’ing around Europe at Club Kalypso (Croatia), Café Mambo, Dunes and Itaca Beach club (Ibiza) and Society (Romania).
In 2013, Shane launched his very own brand `Summer-ized Sessions’, hosting hugely successful nights at clubs in London, Europe and beyond. He is also actively involved with London Fashion Week, working with designers and fashion houses for catwalk shows and their after parties.
New to the production front, Shane has his first 2 track EP set for release later this year.
2018 is already shaping up to be another incredible year for Shane and Summer-ized Sessions, however he insists that there is still a lot more to come from him. Watch this space!
