Are you out of your mind? Is it that people like to tell lies? Or rather, that people prefer to hear convenient untruths and thereby encourage the telling of lies?
Speak word to truth freely - just don't say it in public. The preference is to keep the social realities hidden, to fester, un-aired in the healing filter of mature public discussion.
In the name of political correctness, in the name of tolerance and respect of one another, there is a growing list of things one cannot, dare not, must not say in public.
What you fear out of ignorance will destroy what you love in greed.
